A few days ago i tried a "Julius"

8,7% amber colored, from Hoegaarden, apparantly. Not bad but nothing special either. And an ugly label

Though i only had one and usually it takes a few more to make up my mind. Might try it again some day.

Well I figure beers on a Friday is fair enough considering I`m having nowt the rest of the week.

Today's drink is Lvivske 1715 Classic Lager. It is more typical of a European pale ale with much carbonation, pale golden color and low alcohol content of 4.0%. Has mild subtle taste of lemon. It is from the Ukraine. Overall just fair.

Today's drink is D.Carnegie Stark Porter from Sweden. This beer has a dark brown color with a faint ruby red in it also. Alcohol content of 5.5%. When poured it gives a tan colored foamy head. Tastes of coffee, brown sugar, vanilla and dark roasted malt. Outstanding taste.
