Rotschopf founded Vienna’s very first casting-agency in 1980. His business was no success at all. Just a month after he started his company, he was appointed with a promising job. His agency casted models for the shooting of a bikini-babe poster. The client was a very conservative company manufacturing wooden ladders. And the clients in person appeared as three strange stooges. Rotschopf gave them names: Thor, Toad and the Garden Goblin!

„Kinky” was the name of the small but very expensive boutique in Vienna’s 18th district. Shop owner Gertrude carefully chose the name as both a brand and a program. The lady „with exceptional taste, but far too zaftig and much too blond” - as stylist Irmgard described her - had a propensity to exaggerate the erotic touch of her shop’s range of fashion items and a certain concept to present fashion at shows and shop receptions - and she had a nose for the spirit of time, of sexual liberation going along with permissive creations of the most expensive designers.
