I see more and more iwatches. I do not see the point whatsoever. Is it really worth that much money to not have to look at your phone?

Simple answer to a simple question.
Yes, I wear a watch when out and about - cheapest, clear-faced one I can find at Argos. They all keep good time these days. I don't carry a mobile phone unless I really have to - they remind me too much of my working days "in the field" when people could bother me when I could not be arsed to talk to them. When I am out, I am out - doing my thing and the world can f*ck off. |

I wear one to work, as I have to note the time each time a resident leaves/enters the building due to fire regulations; which can often involve me doing that many times a minute at busy periods, then not for half an hour or more. I don't want the hassle of having to grab my phone, press a button to get it to illuminate to see the time, when I can simply turn my wrist instead to see it.
It would however have been easier if the moron who broke the clock that used to sit in front of me hadn't done so, as I hate wearing any 'jewelry' of an kind, including a watch.

Phone in my pocket, Emporio Armani on my wrist. Why? Because it looks the business.
Men don't have as much jewellery choices as women, ring, cuff links, neck chain and watch. So wear one, and make it a nice one. |

True Kind of like those people who will only buy brands that run Microsoft and will never try anything else

Well, it's a question of price/performance. I have no love for MS, but when the alternatives are unreasonably priced and have no better performance, it's a no-brainer, really. Sensible people engage with reality, not with logos |

Sensible people buy quality Like I posted a few posts back, that thing right there warned me my heart rate was up quite a lot doing something very physical, I knew it was high, just didn't think it was as high as indicated .... so I slowed down for 2 minutes Now call me stupid
