Trump is "protecting" us from the Mexicans who do back breaking labor in our fields. Up the street from me are four acres of pear orchards, with no one to pick them -- now would be the time, but this year Mexican labor is very scarce.

So the pears fall from the trees, rot on the ground-- there's a smell of fallen fruit that isn't unpleasant, and its a feast for the birds-- but you should understand that you and Trump are villifying folks who work far harder than I do, and quite likely much harder than you do.

Try a day in the fields. I worked digging trenches earlier this summer with a Mexican laborer, and it was a joke. Mexicans have been making the West "work" from the days of the frontier . . . are there some Mexican criminals? Sure. They should be arrested, deported if they don't have residency. The level of criminality is not high-- social deviance in working class Latinos isn't any different from comparable Anglo populations.

But understand that if you're going to rely on the middle aged Anglo population of the West to pick lettuce, grapes, apples and pears . . . it ain't gonna happen.

Kavanaugh went through hours of "Preparation -Screening" by GOP lawyers...before today's Testimony.

He was criticised on his refusal to answer the type of questions he proposed the Starr Investigation asked... (Clinton v Lewisnky)... when he was a Lead.
e.g. "Did she swallow"...."How far did his penis go down her throat"...

They were Kavanaugh's suggested questions that Starr objected to... they later said Kavanaugh was "under-stress" and realised he went too far.

"Search Engine" It... bloggs aplenty... mainly by people he worked with who have not supported his cause.

Judge Kavanaugh showed America exactly why I nominated him. His testimony was powerful, honest, and riveting. Democrats’ search and destroy strategy is disgraceful and this process has been a total sham and effort to delay, obstruct, and resist. The Senate must vote!

I am upset. I had believed that Brett Kavanaugh , while conservative, was a skilled jurist and a sound legal mind. As this drama has unfolded it has been revealed that he is a liar and a partisan political hack.

Classmates and other contemporary women have offered testimony in support of Dr. Ford's accusation. Several of Kavanaugh's fellow Yalies have corroborated Ms. Ramirez's allegations.

Kavanaugh is obviously upset at watching his life and reputation unravel in public. I went to high school and college from 1963 through 1971. The drugs came in during the college years. I am all too familiar with the preppy drunks and their abuse of women. Several of my sisters fell prey back then. I am glad to see the chickens coming host to roost.

The Democrats held back their arguments and outed this first woman close to November so that the vote won't happen before any election changes.

Most of his responses are non-responsive and time-wasting. He seems to be incapable of focusing on the issue at hand or of answering simple questions that are asked of him. Can you imagine what a Supreme Court decision written by him would read like? "Well, I remember Roger Clemons was pitching that day ..."
Most alarmingly, he can't distinguish between testimony that refutes an allegation and one that does not support an allegation. Even Ted Cruz made that distinction. To not be able to make this distinction would, one might think, disqualify someone to sit on the bench of a municipal traffic court, let alone the Supreme Court.
