The first episode was shown in the UK on Tuesday night, absolutely superb. Scorsese at his very best.

Ok, sometimes a show starts off well and then turns to ratshit, not this one guys. My daughter has downloaded the whole first series for me and it just gets better and better.

If you havnt seen it, then catch up with it ASAP. It is rare these days that we get anything this classy.

OK, starts off OK and apparently goes downhill.
I only saw the first two series but as I bought the complete box set I'm working my way through it.

Stick with it Wendigo it gets better.
Well I just managed to see Waterloo Road and I have to say its kept up its fine from even though a lot of the last lot of 'kids' have been written out but this kid George Sampson looks like he might develop into a good actor. BTW if you want a good laugh I recommend Fast and Loose-if you remember Whose Line Is It Anyway then it will give you a good idea of what to expect, with a slight twist. Fridays 10pm BBC2 or catch up with BBC Iplayer.

After all these years, I've only just discovered NCIS.Great show! Now I'm watching from the beginning, season 1.

I agree, NCIS is consistantly good. Both the writing and the acting. Ive been hooked on it from the start, if I have one gripe about it though, its that they've made Tony's character into a bit of a clown.

A very good show though.

....Oh, and Ziva is very hot!

Yessiree! Ziva IS hot, but I'm strangely attracted to Abby too.Not usually a goth man, but there's just something cute about her.

Watched two repeats of Heroes of Comedy last night on More4 satellite channel. The first was featuring Leonard Rossiter(Rising Damp, The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin) and the second was a Living Legend, Mike Yarwood, OBE. The thing which struck me is that there is no one around that does the sort of thing he did and could get 26.3m people watching on a Saturday night-now its all reality and people who can't sing etc but back in the 70's, Mike was king of the Impersonators, even the politicians that he did Denis Healey, Edward Heath and Harold Wilson were fans. He came back in December 1990 for Des O'Connor Special doing John Major and he was also famous for his Prince Charles - at that time the Royals were revered by the public-and along with Suzanne Danielle, created Charles & Diana at home "Where's the cheese grater?" "It's his day off!"

Somehow I think that sort of variety show with one person fronting it is long gone.
