"Killing Eve"
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7016936/

I'm torn between the hotness of Jodie Comer and the implausibility of the story. Its an odd mixture of very gritty and naturalistic (Sandra Oh), and the exaggerated (Comer).

There's some grl on grl hot fun, always a plus, but too many obvious nods to other things ("Carla", "Dr. Marat").

Its both over-the-top and under-the-hood at the same time, which is strange. It seems to emerge from a very girlll-powerrr approach to the intelligence genre. It almost works . . . but in the end:

Its sort of like Roger Moore's Bond working for Alec Guiness' George Smiley, makes me wonder where Toby Esterhazy and the lamplighters have gotten to.

The conclusion of The Leftovers. Not what I was expecting, but IMHO, immensely satisfying.
Also the conclusion of Jessica Jones S02. At least it ended on a dimly hopeful hint at some kind of happiness.

Sunday nights excellent a very British scandal .
One question .
They never mentioned how much Vaseline Jeremy used while buggering Norman .

Was it a liberal amount ?

It's not that funny Cyril

Just watched season 2 episode 10 of FX's Legion, and I'm kind of lost. I've been lost for the last few episodes. I will get to it, eventually.

Just watched the first episode of Condor, based on the 1975 film Three Days of the Condor, which was based on the 1974 Six Days of the Condor novel.

This is good!

Looking forward to the remainder of the season!

Flowers Season One. No one does black, side-splittingly funny like the British.

Apparently the creators are going to start doing what effectively the comic did and make Legion (David) into a bad guy...well at least into the two bad components: Wayne and Cyndi. In the show the two names are changed of course, as this new evil persona of David's is unnamed thus far. It wouldn't surprise me at all if the show went into the direction of revealing that every character except David was not in fact a real person experiencing real events with David, but instead each character is a separate psychic personality component of David (Legion) as a whole...and they're all in battle against this new Evil David and Lenny (Cyndi in the comics).
