The real reason we work is because if we could spend all our time on our hobbies we'd get bored with them. Better to do something else that uses up your boredom so you can stay enthusiastic about what you like.

Ever heard of .22 rifle or a .177 pellet rifle?? Those would leave a lot of the carcass edible.

Sometimes its just about Sending a Message , I would of hung the dead rabbit on the fence to send a positive message to his mates

Rabbit actually taste very good , growing up it was one of my mothers favorite foods

You need more hobbies and diverse ones at that. So that say if the weather predicts you can't or shouldn't garden you have some indoor activity. Preferably producing some income.

IMHO, the real reason we work is money. To compensate (some of) us for being somewhere we don't want to be, doing something we'd rather not do.
If we can procure any income for doing something we like doing it's a win, providing it's not dangerous.

In theory this sounds correct except for those days when I would rather be at work and out of harms way at my house when she is on the warpath , so what you are saying is, Mrs. Sandhunter should be giving me money to come home

I like the way this sounds but I will never tell her even on my deathbed
