Unless I’m mistaken, there used to be a page here, years ago, dedicated to Michelle Maren. Maybe my memory is faulty – in any event, it’s a good time to feature her, since there will be a documentary about her coming up for theater release in November.

Younger members probably have no idea who she is but Old timers will remember what a very big deal she was when “Throat – 20 year After” was released in 1984. Huge amounts of publicity. One of those classic cases of “I can’t believe that woman is doing hard core!” She had been a beauty queen (New York), a magician’s assistant, an opening act (as a cabaret singer) for the pop-culture phenom Tiny Tim in Las Vegas, and was familiar via dozens of magazine covers for adult magazines and even mainstream publicity, danced and (after her porn movie days) even did stint as an escort.

She disappeared from hardcore as quickly as she appeared, with just one b/g HC move (“Throat,” two scenes), one lesbian scene (“Public Affairs”) and a handful of non-sex appearances. (To underscore how much producers thought of her, she got more cover-art space on “Public Affairs” than the actual star, Annette Haven, and was the feature model on the cover of “Flashdance” although she only had a secondary part).

So here is a collection of shots I’ve picked up over the years – from her blog and MySpace page (both now defunct), some other sites and vidcaps I’ve taken from some of her moves.

I think the above/EFG 11/83 set was reprinted in this 1988 issue of Adult Action. Michelle is wearing the same lingerie on the cover. However, by the time this was published she was no longer doing photo sessions or films so this is likely from 1983 at about the same time as the EFG session. PS It is interesting that story line seems to start out as a threesome in the market but the other woman disappears somewhere along the line
