They talk about teachers being armed but I have this question: does shooting someone who is threatening the school easier for a woman as well as a man? Could a female teacher really find it easy to blow someone away or at the very least shoot to wound. Do Americans really find it easy to shoot another human being, taking a life or is the gung-ho attitude we see portrayed in the news and especially in films/tv just a front - surely it would depend on the situation - it is easy to say, but I bet it is harder to actually do. I might add that my Dad's cousin(British born and moved to San Francisco in the 90s on a green card) has used a gun and has taught his teenage daughter to shoot out in Las Vegas but shooting a target is one thing, but a human being in a terror sitaution? I am not so sure he could do it - unless his or his families' lives were in danger. I am prepared to believe that Trump would shoot someone and not think twice about it.

Women defend themselves in the US.
https://hooktube.com/watch?v=uwiSl_zuSd4 There were some comments about why the women seemingly stopped shooting him - in order to argue with him - before he tried to grab their guns and they shot him some more. I posted this video awhile back - Asian lady defending her home (using to store restaurant supplies) from 3 home invaders. She killed one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxlVHQF1BQ4 Last edited by Rogerbh; February 24th, 2018 at 08:09 PM.. |

The Augsburger Puppenkiste becomes 70 years old !
(The Augsburger Puppet-Box) The Augsburger Puppenkiste - part of my childhood at those boring Sunday afternoons in TV - becomes today 70 years old. The first première was at the 26. February 1948 in the rooms of the former Heilig-Geist-Spital in Augsburg with the presentiation of "Der gestiefelte Kater" (= Puss in Boots). . The Stars of the Augsburger Puppenkiste From the left: - "Jim Knopf" and "Lukas der Lokomotivführer" and of course "Emma" the Locomotive. - "The Urmel out of the Ice", a little Dino. (behind Emma). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpBMfYOx2FE - "Schlupp from the green Star" a robot, who likes it to be touched. - "Bill Bo and his chums", who are robbing and plundering in the country. But they are having a lot of bad luck. - "The Lion". But it's a good lion who harms nobody. - "The Sams" (sitting in the Background). Everywere, it appears the week is full uf Saturdays. - "Aladin" - "Mama Wutz" (behind) living on the island "Titiwu" and professor "Tibatong", who taught her speaking. - "The Castle-Ghost Lülü" (in the background) - the foreground I don't know. - "Tom-cat Mikesch" and cat "Mounzerle" (in the background) - "And right side: "The Tin General" and his Tin-Army (Knights) . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lO-u-efN_9k Each of the figures above is standing for a serial in TV. Happy Birthday, Augsburger Puppenkiste !!!

Twat of the month contender
Ellie-May Clark died after GP turned her away for being late "A five-year-old girl with a history of asthma was turned away from her doctor after being five minutes late for an emergency appointment - and later died in hospital. An inquest has heard Ellie-May Clark was not seen by the Grange Clinic in Newport as it operated a "10 minute rule" for late patients. The GP refused to see her because she was late and she died that night. The coroner recorded a narrative conclusion." "Ellie-May Clark died from natural causes where the opportunity to provide potentially life-saving treatment was missed" So it's pretty damn close to manslaughter, I hope the bastard that imposed frigging ludicrous rule and all at the jobsworth knobs at the practice are really proud of themselves.

What about that stupid woman who put a note on the windscreen of an ambulance saying she didn't care about the person they were treating and to move it so she could park her car. She should have been put in a strait-jacket, and dragged behind the back of it...by her hair!
The icy blast known as "the beast from the east" has hit this country and set to get worse, and not just in this country but other European cities, so it one thing the Russians cannot deny sending us because it has come across from Siberia-deny that one Putin!😀 |

This case IS manslaughter, if a doctor refuses her seeing her. There is no excuse (except he is overstretched with other emergency at the same time) for it.

Not if she lived in the US according to Roger No. 33424. She might have ended up dead.

Whilst I agree with all the comments, I think if I had a child in such an emergency situation I would have asked the clinic to call an ambulance or taken he to the nearest hospital myself. |
