Thanks.

I don't know whether it's just laziness on my part but I stopped reading as soon as I saw 'right wing think tanks'. Actually, it's probably a serious mistrust of 'right wing think tanks'. Well, any 'think tanks' really.

The 'Grauniad' (The Guardian newspaper is notorious for spelling mistakes, so it is often referred to with it's name mispelled) has clearly got hold of this just to help scare people into wanting another referendum.

Absolutely. That's why the US has the most expensive and least effective healthcare system in the western world. Perhaps it's time for people to learn some lessons the hard way. They've had it too good for too long. Let's put someone in charge like this Rees-Mogg character who'll start charging you for breathing air.

If you are talking about non-EU companies with a rampant privatisation of the NHS, it will cost you more with worse results:
https://www.healthsystemtracker.org/...lth-u-s-spends
https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulat...lly/2016-11-01
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-h...-idUSKCN1GP2YN

And if you are talking about having more non-EU staff in the NHS, it will also cost you more because EU expats contribute more to the UK budget than non-EU expats (https://www.independent.co.uk/news/u...8542506.html):

non-European migrants will make a positive net contribution of £28,000 - £50,000 less than the £78,000 for EU arrivals – when the budget is balanced.
(...)
On an annual basis, while EU migrants contribute £2,300 more than the average, each non-European migrant contributed £800 less than the average – and each UK‑born adult £70 less.

But hey, who cares? Brexit is all about taking back control, no matter the cost, right?

I think the EU will be paying a hell of a lot more to fly to the US via UK airspace too!

If that was on a like for like basis, mind you they can always fly the long way
