What a thrill to see those 917 Porsches in all their glory.

In 1971 the winning 917 set a distance record of 3,315.203 miles that stood until 2010, when it was beaten by about 100 yards.
Admittedly the circuit has changed a lot, but it's still remarkable.

One of my all time favourite movies, absolutely silly but great fun and Christopher Lee as Callum Chance "the weird fellow in the white suit" who bets his ancestral home in a game of poker and is not too upset when he loses.
