Hey there guys -- Do any of you recognize this song? It sounds SO familiar, but i can't place it, or find it on any striptease compilations...

I noticed this thread has gone a bit quiet, so figured I'd update everyone on my current "to do" list regarding it.
I'm still collecting every version of "The Stripper" that I can find. I currently have 64 tracks! There are some more I've found on various vinyls, so will hopefully be obtaining them and ripping them soon. Considering putting a website together for this. I'm still working on obtaining/remaking Zita's Strip (which I'm calling Crumpet Voluntary) from Steptoe and Son The Movie. The cost of transfer from the original reels was too high for me, short of a lottery win! I'm also looking at trying to identify the music used during the pub strip scene in The World of Eddie Weary. Not strictly classic, but certainly filthy and would fit in any collection. Anyway, hope all are well and keep up the good works |

Can anyone remember the music that Paula Prentiss (Liz) stripped to in the film What's New Pussycat. I vaguely remember the scene and I am sure she was very sexy and her dance complimented the music.

thought I'd see how many covers I could find ... for what has to be the best ... sexiest ... straight to the point ... striptease music ever ... David Rose's The Stripper. Easily found these 10 ... which portray the delightful art ... talking about real striptease here ... in different ways. The first is teasy ... gloved and stockinged girl behind a curtain ... the second realistic ... bring back the boa ... the third reminds me of my first serious gf ... 4 and 5 suggest dimly lit clubs ...whatever happened to stage lighting which lets you see the action? the next playfully picks up the curtain tease once more ... boa feathers and heels ... number seven suggests the extra thrill of a french maid theme costumed strip ... 8 is all anticipation ... a classy robe ... but what's under it? the best IMHO is the one before the last ... its vintage ... it looks like its on stage in a strip club ... love that hair style ... she's already twirled her bra around her head ... before hurling it into the audience ... did you see her titties? too bad ... now you'll have to wait. and she's already tugged her knicks down ... just a teeny weeny little bit ... showing a deliciously anticipatory hint of bum ... join me in shrieking get em off ... the last one is strange ... the girl is nude ... no hint of an arousing strip. it's the one I was looking for ... back to that gf ... and the first meeting of the parents ... gf and mother leave us men to talk ... that dreaded moment. as soon as they are gone ... father whips out the LP. sssh he says ... what do you think of this? my mate and I played it the other night ... we rung up mother and said we were at the strip club. how about that then? in those circumstances ... not the easiest of questions. can't remember what evasive answer came forth ... but the moment passed. none of them ... gf included ... knew that I had already discovered striptease in Soho ... a thrilling pastime as a later gf put it ... and all it needed was for The Stripper to start playing ... for the fascination and delight striptease works on me ... to thrust itself very noticeably to the forefront ... much credit to those who continue to find variants of striptease music .. and post on this thread ... maybe this little tale will inspire some more finds ... to be savoured as fine striptease should be enjoyed ... |
