Agreed. The problem was that our scientific knowledge and the ability to make good quality TV shows had progressed significantly in the decades that followed. Although I was a huge fan of the original Star Trek series, it began to look dated as time passed and sometimes cheaply made. Some of the stories seemed rather illogical (Jim!) and and it must have been a real problem making the content of the show fit in neatly with the original series, which began to look as if it belonged to the Austin Powers era.

With Enterprise, you had the feeling that they had people with a decent understanding of science looking at the scripts, plus some good quality writers trying to produce grittier, almost believable sci-fi stories.

As for the theme music, I can't say I was blown away by it and would have preferred someting instrumental and dynamic, but so what?

Default Boss

Boss with Kelsey Grammer.

Boss is an American political drama television serial created by Farhad Safinia. The series stars Kelsey Grammer as Tom Kane, the mayor of Chicago, who has recently been diagnosed with dementia with Lewy bodies, a degenerative neurological disorder.

Damned... it was a very dark TV show and Kelsey Grammer was excellent.

Twelve O'Clock High - WWII and airplanes, and with more "warbirds" flying today of the right type, even better. And "Combat!" - because in this day and age, some need to be reminded that we killed Nazis once upon a time.

Totally agree. It was a great show and I feel like if it had just had 1 more season then, at least, we would have had a satisfying conclusion to the story.

Also, House Of Cards pretty much copied the framework of Boss, especially in S1.
