They are arent they? Us Brits, hormones racing might have had an old Penthouse found in our dad's drawer or a Littlewoods catelogue with underwear models to wank to. Now there is the Internet but you know, I think I prefer them days, the memories.

Yeah no nervous shuffling around in the newsagent hoping that it wouldn't be a young bird on the till. Also being a short arse it was hard to reach the top shelf, I could sue 'em today for being heightest.
I'm amazed at the stuff you get free on the internet, don't know they're born. Still I miss the early 80s stuff like Escort, Razzle, Fiesta and the creme de la creme Mayfair, I find a lot of that stuff more horny than todays silicone bored models.

Time is moving and we are getting older. Our fathers probably thought that magzines would never be beaten and i'm sure their fathers were jealous of them.

Kids today have the internet. When they are older what will their kids have?

Here is my twopenneth. If we had had the Internet back in the 1980's then imagine which of the Page 3 girls would have been even more popular than the American ones, with global coverage and with the advent of CD-ROM's and DVD's what marvellous opportunities there would have been for downloading some of your favourite model videos because they would most definitely considered doing them. However the video cassette revolution allowed some models to do said videos but only available in magazines for mail order. Nowadays all they have to do is make their own video showcase and bingo! instant stardom with magazines and website falling over themselves to sign them up. It was thought a coup if someone like Gayner Goodman or Heather Mills appeared on programmes like Men and Motors. Unless you had something that could record straight to computer all you had was that channel to watch-sometimes repeated ad nauseum.

The kids of today have all the technology they could want and have just about every device going that was once only considered as science-fiction. So how come, with the Internet and mobile this and that they are still bored? Its all taken for granted and I somehow think that our generation(the 60's & 70's generation) would have made better use of it-mind you does anyone remember the naughty games that appeared for the Spectrum and BBC computers? Nothing changes-except our ages.

Ironically it was programmes like Monty Python and their ilk where you got to see topless women-albeit in flashes but apart from that it was the odd stripper getting her kit off in "The Sweeney" or "Minder" (Candy Davies springs to mind-yes her thread is around here) or the gorgeous babes of Benny Hill, some of which turned up in said magazines. Titbits came close to being a magnet for models as some of the early editions from the 80's used to regularly feature scantily-clad Page 3 girls, little did we know of course our foreign cousins had it better than us. Mayfair and Penthouse was the closest we got to seeing our favourite models finally nude, but then we also had Escort, Razzle(slightly sleazier type) and the more professional looking Knave, Parade and its off-shoots.

Its true that the heart raced a bit as one gazed at the football magazines but kept an eye on the top shelf-in those days(80's) you could reach up and swipe one without the newsagent seeing you in close-circuit tv mode-yes I admit I did nick the odd one and hide it down my trousers or up my jumper OR if I was really daring stick inside the Star or Sun and hope no one saw it-which usually they didn't.

The Internet has shown just how many of these magazines were hoarded by collectors and now seeing the light of day and how the foreign ones revealed more of the models than we could see here(damn our Draconian laws!!) - and it shows on this forum just how popular they still are, even though today's crop of mags are nothing compared to what we had back then and of course the heart-stopping moment when someone like Maria Whittaker, whose gorgeous boobs we were all familiar with, even her shapely bum, finally revealed the delights below stairs-don't know about you, but today for me at least with the advent of the Brazilian wax-look it holds no excitement...or maybe its me?
