suspicious download link?

Hi,

the uploaded.net link below appears to download a .dmg file with an installer.

obviously, i did not run the installer. interesting, im on a mac and it appeared to be a mac version of whatever it was.

I tried it but got an AVI download. I didn't complete the download but the dialog box says that everythings OK.

Uploaded sometimes has a box that's ticked by default, the usual 'use our download manager' kind of thing that many sites have. On UL it shows up only occasionally and is very easy to miss. That may be what happened here.

so, use adblocker or something similar and noscript and you will never have problems like this again.

and you can also use jdownloader to get only the link you copy-paste.
