Actually the job needs to pay for the work I do. If I work 12 hours then pay me for those hours, not 10 or 11. In essence what I am saying is do not look in my pockets for your profits.

I understand that I am presenting you with some concepts that don't fit well in your frame of reference. You are probably not aware that the peasantry was evicted from the land that they had always worked in common in 18th century Europe.

The vast majority of taxpayers are not thieves. The top 1% that lives off inherited wealth has co-opted a much greater share of society's wealth over the past 40 years. That is a matter of public record. When I speak of redistribution, I mean a return to progressive taxation to fund debt reduction, infrastructure, and education not for welfare handouts. These investments will increase GDP and lead to job and wage growth and increased profits in a way that is sustainable.

Many of the societal agreements that underpin the current system of oligopolistic capitalism only took root in over the last four centuries and were quite controversial when they were initially proposed. Furthermore, the philosophical arguments and the economic theses on which the system is based have both been discredited. Some concepts, e.g. usury, now taken for granted in the West were considered immoral for centuries and are still considered immoral in a large part of the world. In short, ideas you consider as obvious truths are are actually customs of rather recent vintage.

I am now 68. I don't know why you feel that I am not entitled to the benefits for which I paid taxes for so many years. I am receiving a poverty level income, but am not asking for more. I can actually survive on that income for the immediate future. My needs are very simple. I am looking to find an income supplement to pay for better health care and guard against inflation. There are many jobs I cannot do because of work related injuries and the infirmities of age. Be grateful you have your health. That can change in an instant.

SB1142 expands the state’s racketeering laws, now aimed at organized crime, to also include rioting. And it redefines what constitutes rioting to include actions that result in damage to the property of others.
But the real heart of the legislation is what Democrats say is the guilt by association — and giving the government the right to criminally prosecute and seize the assets of everyone who planned a protest and everyone who participated. And what’s worse, said Sen. Steve Farley, D-Tucson, is that the person who may have broken a window, triggering the claim there was a riot, might actually not be a member of the group but someone from the other side.

On the other hand though there is a difference between organized protesters who don't attack or trash an area and those who do.

Provided that the "protesters" who attack and destroy property were acting on the orders of the organizers and not the orders of the opposition trying to sully the protesters. I see too much opportunity for manipulation.
