You're not kidding it's a long shot.
Funnily enough I was just thinking about that clip. After a bit of memory searching & googling I came up with a bit more info. The series was "Manhattan Cable" & apparently only ran for one season in 1991 (I think it's available on DVD). It was presented by Laurie Kite (sp?) & had RuPaul (remember him/her?) as a 2nd presenter & showed all sorts of weird & wonderful clips from US public access TV shows. I remember the Busty Belle clip as being particularly annoying as it cut off just as it was getting intersting. It came from (IIRC) a porn news & interview show but I'm afraid I don't know what it was called. BTW - I remember her outfit as being some sort of pale blue leather thing. There was a similar Channel 4 show called "United States of Television" in 1994 with Laura Kightlinger. |
