Friday is when I typically take my every three week trip to Binny's to get those beers I drink and review in the thread: Drinking Tonight? You can see how large this store is. In the foreground is the lane for imported beers. There are typically two isles, which include two 100 foot shelves with more than 2500 different beers and ales from around the world. Note to moderators. These photos were re-uploaded using hotflick.net. Both photos were adjusted for the aspect ratio but one came up very large. Here is the inside of my 2001 Toyota Camry. As you can see, there is nothing fancy. No GPS system, no rear view t.v. camera, no ABS. It does have a tape player which is not put in new cars anymore. I just don't need any of these fancy gadjets and gizmos at the present. If I was 30 years younger and working I might jump for joy to have a car with these features, but 30 years ago cars did not even have front wheel drive, or fuel injection, and you could get a brand new full size car with all the latest options for just 18,000 dollars. Now new cars might cost 38,000 dollars. Just not worth it I say! Last edited by trailmaster; May 3rd, 2018 at 06:09 PM.. |

These are photos of the Burnham Greenway Trail when I hiked it in 2005. At the time the two segments of the 11 mile trail had not been connected. It used to be an old freight train line that was abandoned. I hiked the northern segment that starts near Eggers Grove just about one tenth of a mile north of Wolf Lake. The trail is made of white asphalt and is good for biking(cycling) and hiking. The trail itself is un-remarkable. As these few photos show there are some areas that are lined with shrubs and trees on one side of the trail. The other side of the trail are old abandoned factories, and warehouses. As the trail segment gets further and further north you reach a commercial area where there are a lot of old stores and some markets, and then this segment just ends abrubtly at a parking lot reserved for trail users.
