Helle was another one who, in my opinion, suffered from a poor centerfold. Also, she is quite appealing when she smiles, which was rare in the photos.

Agree about Susie - she's like a Lisa Matthews knockoff without any of Lisa's charm.

To me,Marilyn Cole looked far more attractive in her "Playmates Revisited" shoot than in her original photos.

Candy Loving comes to mind for me. The original few pics they used in the magazine were very weak. When you look at her complete body of work ( pun intended), she is very beautiful and sweet.

I find the pics of the "Playmate Test Shots" to be among the best for all the girls. The girls are younger, and are not caked with makeup and silly wardrobes.

I don't enjoy when 40 year old playmates are trying to recreate the magic when they pose very explicitly. Let us remember you as a 20 year old!

Veronica Gamba and Suzie Schott, both because I saw them on film. Namely Suzie's PM profile, (specifically her doffing her suit after parachuting) and Veronica in that video that the mid-'80's PB Channel had of her set to the ZZ Top song Cheap Sunglasses.

I just saw a repost of Liz Stewart. I did not care for her short spiky 1980s hair cut and could not get past it. Upon further "review" this woman is an absolute babe. Great body, great legs, pretty face.

No, I don't believe Candy Loving posed at 40. She likely would still look good. My point is that some of the girls whose time is clearly passed, pose and feel the need to be very explicit. You know what I mean. The beauty of PB was young, nude, beautiful girls. I was young and hot at age 19, but nobody wants to see Mr. Happy now!

I would have to say any Playmate where the centerfold was a rear view. As a young man I wanted to see tits tits tits but my appreciation of the rear view had grown over the years.

I am willing to view Candy L posing at 40; 50 and 60...I still can't believe how fine Janet Lupo looked in her early-mid 60s. May she rest in peace, but Candy-mankind awaits the favor of ripened fruit

I agree completely Bubba. Candy's beauty simply was not expressed in her PMOM shoot. Only when many years later I saw outtake shots from the same time 1979 did I come to see what a beauty Candy was. I also agree the models should not go back 10-20 years later and pose. Better to have been captured in their prime and remembered that way.
