Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators of South Park, were brought in to pen the prequel to Dumb and Dumber, but they gave that up due to being so busy with South Park and the South Park movie. It shows how much time that prequel was in development Hell.

Smile What Have You Learned Today ?

That some people won't stop asking the question as to why Prometheus was so silly and Alien: Covenant mostly stupid. Given Ridley Scott made the near perfect (Until he released an extended version with deleted scenes ) Alien.
Well the reason they were naff and he`s never (In my opinion) equaled let alone bettered Alien. Is because Dan O`Bannon wrote the screenplay and played an intrinsic part in what we ultimately saw on screen. Along with Derek Vanlint and to a certain extent H.R. Giger.
Without those three chances are we`d have got an Alien film more along the lines of the last two prequel/sequels. Lovely visually. But story wise bloody daft and logic wise , nonexistent.

Having had a dental implant done on Wednesday, I have since found out that several other people I know have had one.

The thing is, that includes two ex-girlfriends who are still very close friends. Both are quite sporty (horses and car racing) and have had various crashes and falls - but I never knew that

Aren't you worried that you might be helping to rehabilitate the reputation of Stella Artois, the original wife beater beer? Being associated with MaxJoker lends an undeserved cachet to a beer which ought to be sponsors of The Jeremy Kyle Show?

And yes, I am a snob.

Big Grin What Have You Learned Today ?

That the authoress of my favourite books turns out to never have written a single word

Exactly

She just bluffed and faked being able to write

Sort of how she behaved in that much revered Pap Grope where pretended could sing.

Geez Kezza.
So you`re illiterate as well as being chronically incontinent

Thank goodness she`s got those looks and personality to fall back on

Telling you Fellow Forum Fella`s I've not felt this disappointed since learned that ,

Wasn't written by him

No. Boo Boo was definitely the brains of that outfit. Whilst Yogi was "smarter than average" Boo Boo was in fact a sophisticated mechanoid with a 256 GB memory capacity.

Never overlook the quiet ones.

When it comes to metal news, I'm mostly living under a rock as I don't expose myself to that, and the sites I go to for news never cover metal, unless it's say Slayer announcing a retirement tour or a huge figure in metal died. I was just looking up High On Fire, forgetting that I already downloaded their discography. During that I thought of the band, 3 Inches of Blood randomly. Different genres, but they just came to mind. So, I looked them up, lo and behold they split in 2015. I'm 3 years too late to grieve.

In comparison, I was 2 or so days late on Warrel Dane's passing, random browsing led me to that. Better that time frame than months later.

It wasn't until the Nostalgia Critic review of Yogi Bear that I even knew there was a live action movie of the character. I totally missed that. Also, Woody Woodpecker, same deal, didn't know it existed until he reviewed it. That one was probably more realistic because it only hit Brazilian theaters before going straight to DVD.

Unhappy Oh boy

You`ll not believe this Fellow Forum Fella`s.

Hell I can barely believe it myself.

Was helping MaJoker earlier this morning when found a couple of dusty vases. One of which contained a Lotto ticket I must have bought (Since has my numbers) from way back in 1995.
Bought and then for some bloody inexplicable reason stuck in one of the vases
Don't ask me why.
Course each ticket is only valid for six months.
Uggggh.
Can barely write this as feel so sick.
Not kidding.
As just checked them.
Checked what won on Saturday 8th July 1995.
Here are the numbers

No I didn't win and facking "PHEW" for that

Although £5 spent
£5 in 1995 spent
Exactly , that`s when money had value
Bah
Could have bought a row of houses and still had enough left over for a fishy chippy supper , yes and battered sausage too

There are some northern towns where a fiver will still buy you a battered sausage...if you are that way inclined.
