So two alternatives are imagevenue and imagebam, what else? Might make sense to divide posts up between 3 or more filehosts, in case the worst happens to one of them.

Reading the TOS & FAQ
This message in someimages faq sounds like adult material will be tolerated up to a point
Not a good bet for anything using too much bandwidth https://someimage.com/tos 4. Adult content is allowed, but anyone abusing our service by uploading ridiculous amounts of porn will have their accounts terminated. We are not a gigantic porn dump and do not want to be used as one. There are a plethora a sites about imgbox is probably the next most used - their thumbnails at 150x suck - more for sample & full set posts than individual pics From our sister forum PS - keeping in mind - they tend to remove really bad hosts - the limits on their forum from memory are no more than 20-25 pics in a post - dont know how many offer pic gallery links depic.me / dpic.me gfycat.com (for gifs only) imagebam.com imageho.me imagevenue.com imagezilla.net imgbox.com imgcredit.xyz imgflash.net picstate.com pimpandhost.com pixhost.to pixxxels.cc postimage.org sharenxs.com someimage.com stooorage.com turboimagehost.com uploadhouse.com |

imagevenue
my apologies if this has already been brought up.
I've noticed lately that images I once uploaded to imagevenue that "disappeared" are now "reappearing". I remember they had server issues a couple of years ago, which led many many members to begin re-upping their images using a different image/file host, myself included. has anyone else noticed this in their older posts? maybe it's just me. either way, I'd rather see them than NOT see them! maybe. it could make a Mod's job of cleaning threads a bit of a nightmare though. |

Imgbox - can't remember if that one does pop-up ads or not. I'd prefer to use a host that does not or only every so often shows pop-up ads, out of politeness to fellow members. Some hosts used on other sites just throw a nightmare nest of pop-ups at you before you can see the pic. At least the browser-locking ransomware popups seem to be declining just lately.

I don't seem to be having any major problem with my stuff but I will keep an eye on my posts and I've added the signature, as requested.

aside from me joking slightly, as a Mod you get used to certain members always using the same image host. it's really not a big deal, it can sometimes save you a little time. if a host has an issue, like imagevenue did, the cry will be sounded and the Mods can act accordingly. I've always used imagevenue or imagebam, depending on whether I'm posting jpegs or gifs. either way, life goes on! |

Going to have to back and try at least reposting stuff I have recently added via another image host. Can't even remember all of the images I have posted though. Gonna be a lot worse for you, Boatguy, I know how much stuff you post. waycha, SomeImage WAS good. No popup ads for one thing. I'll have to try imagebam and imagevenue. maybe imgbox, I wonder if pimpandhost is worth trying? This is going to gut a lot of modern threads.

Awesome.
I've only been using them for about 6 months, mainly because ImageBam was kicking up a lot of Ransomeware earlier in the year and I didn't want to be even partially responsible for people getting hit with that stuff. The worst part is that a few months ago I replaced a bunch of my ImageBam links with Someimage because the IB thumbnails were showing up as red Xs (even though the image links were still working). I've still got everything I've posted on my hard drive, so it's just a matter of time until I can replace what needs to be replaced. Ah, well. All part of the game in the fast paced life of vidcap and candid photo sharing. |
