but...
I was in Hospital recently, having had an operation.

On the 2nd day, I was allowed food.
I expected little, but being given a menu to choose from, I thought Tomato pasta would be a light meal (and very little to get wrong in the cooking).

I imagined this:-

or this:-

What I had arrive, looked similar to this :-

Over-cooked ; both dry and mushy (which I didn't previously think possible), texture like baby food, and devoid of any taste or flavour.
Oh, and cold as well.

Hospitals are there to make you well - they aren't restaurants - and I didn't pay for it, so like I say, not criticising the great NHS ;

but as far as food goes..... you did ask.
