I assume by this point in her life she's been surgically changed into a dude named Velmer
Funny thing. I had a neighbor in an apartment building that was the spitting image of Velma. Everyone thought she was gay because she was quite butch, but she wasn't. She's married now, to a guy you'd swear was gay too. Very effeminate. What a pair Oh. My choice is Rogue from X-Men. What can I say? I have a weakness for redheads. |

Only if she didn't speak. That annoying accent she has in the cartoons, sort of Jewish, sort of NYC, is a big turn off. Kinda like Fran Drescher's voice. Smokin hot woman there, but she opens her mouth and my cock turtles

Little bit of context. It was some point around 1976-8, and I would have been between 8 and 10 years old. Crossing the road, you may have been assisted by a 'lollipop lady', a crossing warden who carried a sign, like a giant lollipop, who would stop the traffic and shuttle schoolchildren across the road.
At that time, I used to get a comic (rather than a comic book or graphic novel) which was akin to the Beano or the Dandy, called 'Cheeky Weekly.' Cheeky was a character in the comic, a young boy who would wander around town, meeting people and telling them jokes. One of his regulars was 'Lily Pop, the cracking crossing lady'. Lily was blonde, busty, able to match Cheeky joke for joke and always brought the traffic screeching to a halt. Forty years on and it's still Lily
