If the programme about Hattie Jacques was really true to life, then the way she treated John Le Mesurier was absolutely shameful. The poor bugger even went so far as to give HER the excuse to divorce him so that her career wouldnt suffer. She got her cum-uppance in the end though!!!

Problem is more tragedy befell John Le Mesurier because the woman Joan he had an affair with to help Hattie Jacques, ran off with Tony Hancock.

I was surprised to see on her own thread that like Margaret Nolan she started out as a figure model. Here is a link to her thread. http://www.vintage-erotica-forum.com...=Sally+Douglas AceXX |

These Margaret Nolan pics were infact in to promote "Goldfinger" back in 1964.
P*****y has had a long standing tradition of Bond. Incidentally, as a Bond afficianado, if anyone has a question on Bond they would like an answer too (serious ones only please) then feel free to ask me, and I will try to answer. "Busty" the harem girl, as played by Alexandra Dane. Quote:

I won't say anymore in case you haven't seen the film, but it is worth checking out, even if this particular segment is (in my opinion), the weakest of the five portmanteau stories. Quote:

You know the later Carry on's were probably lucky that people like Sid, Hattie, Charles etc weren't in them because they probably would have died of embarrassment- a waste of really good talent. For me they should have finished this series after Carry On Behind but some idiot decided to stretch out the franchise(as they call it in America) up to the truly dire Carry On Emmanuelle, and I loved those luscious legs of Suzanne Danielle in other things. Maybe if there had been a bit more nudity? Perhaps not, it was dying a death as it was.

A couple of thoughts on Greenman and polartrades posts. Greenman you are right in that the quality of the films went down hill really after Dick. All the best Carry On's had great scripts and up to Dick just two men had provided them namely Norman Hudis and then Talbot Rothwell. Dave Freeman who scripted Behind had already provided some of the better scripts for Laughing (the TV spin-off) so he was perhaps better acquainted on what was needed.
Regarding polartrade's comments re tease shots Peter Rogers the producer of the Carry On series always regarded his films as family entertainment. I know that he had several protracted negotiation with the film censor to get certain scenes through. When you think that every Carry On had either a U or an A (with the exception of Behind that was originally given an AA rating it was then withdrawn re-cut and re-released as an A rating) I think he did rather well. Still you can imagine the shots and even scenes that were left on the cutting room floor. AceXX Last edited by AceXX; February 17th, 2011 at 10:56 AM.. Reason: grammar |

I had the misfortune to see 'Carry On Dick' with my grandpa years ago and I didn't enjoy it much so most of the original carry-ons were funnier-my favourite still remains 'Carry On Up the Khyber'-the scene where Peter Butterworth, as Jim Dale's valet is hiding under the table as the dinner scene gets bombed-he reappears as Joan Sims says to Roy Castle "oh you can't go yet, we've not had the strawberry mousse", to which Peter grabs a leek and plays it like a flute chanting "strawberry mousse, strawberry mousse"-it is the best scene in the film to me.
Anyway on with the motley. Someone mentioned they wanted a scene of Jenny Cox's first strip seen on the projector whilst Kenneth Williams is giving his talk. Well here it is in an edited form, no sound, but the original strip music added. Enjoy. Pic preview: Mod Edit -- Link gone -- removed by Mod
