This band has been recommended to me several times over the years and I never got around to listening to them. Like coins from my pocket, they kept slipping between the sofa cushions in my mind.  I stumbled across a live stream by NPR (National Public Radio) of a concert they did in Washington, DC last night. I was mesmerized. They formed in 1999 and have been featured on multiple television and film soundtracks. It's rather embarrassing that I've only just "discovered" them. Still, it's nice to think that the world still holds some unknown delights for me to find. Anyway, the band is called Explosions In The Sky and they are a mostly instrumental band out of Midland, Texas. I hope you enjoy them. They've got me mesmerized.
