The respected family-man CEO of the large business where I used to work died and his secretary found a VHS stash in his office. The old perv was in his late 70s too.

She knew about my porn affinity and discreetly packaged it all up into a small travel bag before his family found it. It was surreal as I wheeled it thru the offices and out to my car.

Bottom line - if you're embarrassed by it, find someone you trust and have a stash pact. Personally I won't care, I'll be dead.

I've got about five old vidya tapes. Only one has a factory title label on it, and if I removed that, I'm pretty sure my family would just throw the tapes out without looking at them. I've only currently got about 15 scenes on my computer. They aren't particularly hidden, but they are in a subfolder of a subfolder. I doubt if anyone in my family is savvy enough to find them, and am not sure they would even bother to look. I'm not into anything particularly outrageous, though I guess I'd be outed as a lesbo lover. They probably wouldn't like it, but I just can't worry too much about it.

Some posters, such as se7en want to use a long complicated password so that it will not be broken. Birthdays, name of first dog, etc are too easily guessed but here is a way to produce a complicated, long password that you don't have to write down.

Think of your favorite line in a song or poem and then enter that line taking numbers off your phone dial pad for each letter. ABC=2, DEF=3 etc. Mary had a little lamb becomes 627942325488535262
It is an asymmetric encryption as it is very difficult to operate in reverse. Stay away from repetitiion such as baa, Baa black...

In North America, many stashes wind up listed on eBay (which allows modern porn on the US site), usually by the sons and nephews who clean out the attic when Uncle Bob or Grandpa kick the bucket or go into a nursing home.

These are always fun to see, since the sellers don't know what they have and don't know when they have a hot item like when they list a scarce Roberta Pedon mag and I'm the only bidder who knows she's in it and the mag is actually worth $50.

The same thing is starting to happen over here too. Ebay UK was a bit sniffy about porn mags on it's site for a long time, now it lists Razzle, Escort, Parade and just about every perv you could want, or not want!

Amazon UK has also started floggin' porn mags as well.

Now, if you find a stash in your new attic/cellar, don't bin 'em. Scan them and sell them. You could make a tidy profit as well as documenting some top-class smut.

So agree Mick , once they get what they want (all) , I have health issues , diabetes 25 yrs multi side effects , now all is negativity and driving me down horribly . I save lots and good to hear all the experiences here . I havent changed in life and worked nearly 40 yrs till I no longer could , so I have a sizeable "stash" . Unsaid , the rest is the same old same old . Just keep on keepin on , to ALL . Just as I will . VEF is my treasure bc. all of YOU .
