Exclamation Aussie members Rudd may block this site in a few weeks!

G'Day,

Unless you guys have been on Mars, you'll have heard about the Federal Governments plan to block access to 10,000 sites this summer.

One of them may well be this one.

I back Rudd on a lot of issues -but his bible-bashing and wowserism are not two of them.

You can sit on your arse until he drives his new censorship regulations up it in a bus, or you can act up and put an end to this crap. To do that you're going to have to man up and identify as a user of adult erotica by joining the newly formed Australian Sex Party (They need your Party Membership, to get into the senate, not just your vote!)

The ASP are a one-issue Party, but they can stand up to Fielding, Nile, Harradine, Rudd, and Turnbull, et al, for YOUR right to watch porn, if you act now.

My own employer would have a pink fit if they knew I was surfing here (in my time -not theirs!) no one is saying you should be downloading porn at work, but the next step is your boss will fire you for downloading it at HOME! Ironically, if you join the party you can claim you are being persecuted for your POLITICAL beliefs -not for watching porn- nifty huh? ;-)

Whatever side of the political divide you are on -you know that none of the Big Parties give a toss about your rights as an Adult Consumer.

They would all just as soon shut down sex shops, sex sites, and brothels to please the moron moralistic motor-mouths -and the apathetic or gutless majority that go along with their bullshit, those folks that are too dimwitted or scared to stand up in support for sex services in public, even though they watch porn or hire sex workers.

Aussies, please let Canberra know the wowsers are not the only people who matter in politics. Your right to see and do what you want is under an immediate and serious threat, please go here http://www.sexparty.org.au/ and JOIN, or this time next year you may be risking a criminal record just for surfing this site (if you can access it to begin with).
Cheers.

You know it would be nice if one of you fellow aussie blokes, and birds actually made a comment... even if to disagree or slag me off. Reason being, this thread needs to be on the front page so raincoaters in Oz get to see it when they log in...
At least give one pubes hairs worth about what is happening, Geez no wonder they FORCE you buggers to vote!

Question mmm interesting

I read somewhere about this - man, it's quite shocking to me as I always thought you Aussies were among the most liberal when it came to matters of a sexual nature - Am i wrong?

And before anyone gets confused - I'm not from NZ despite the handle - I am a Scotsman in central Europe.

I'm amazed that compulsory voting is tolerated - so so much for the free and independent

So if your government succeeds in stopping smutty sites can we expect to see hordes of raincoat wearing Aussies returning to the Old Country!

Kiwi, Bellsy,

The thing about Australia is that life is so generally laid-back the only time they actually stop watching sports on their flat screens and drag themselves down to the town-hall for a whinge is if somebody wants to build a Mosque or an Airport in their backyard. The next suburb is fine, so long as the flightpath goes over the Mosque in that one as well.

Make Aussies pay over the odds for tollways they don't want, and parking they don't have? no worries mate!

Run the metro rail and bus system into the ground? she'll be right!

Build the fugliest buildings in the world on one of the most beautiful Harbours on the planet? yer, ....anyway it's you're round, sport, the footy will be on in a minute, mines a Resches!

That's why the VOTE is compulsory here. If you can't win a medal, cup, hinterland Queensland mansion, or 'meat tray' doing it, nobody gives a rats.

How it works: Everyone is on the 'voter roll' your name gets marked off at the polls, just like school, which is why they probably vote at schools on a Saturday. If 'Teacher' does not get your name 'ticked' they send you a substantial fine in the mail. The only way out is to join some crackpot religious group that don't vote (yet ironically wield power by giving governments huge donations) what a cosy set-up

Look at the double digit hits this thread has had in under 24 hours, and the only people to be arsed to comment are 2 blokes on the other side of the earth.

I hope that the ASP get the people they need to get into Senate (they need 500 Party Members) but judging by the underwhelming response on this BB...

Aussies are relaxed about sex, and life in general, as I've just described above, and thats often what makes living here great. But there are still PLENTY of crazy conservative religious nutters here as well, and they are NOT relaxed about ANYTHING! (Cos they need a good wank!)

Here's another beautiful Australian irony, in the A.C.T. -Australian Capital Territory (think of it as Australia's Washington DC) you can legally watch porn, visit hookers, and possess for own use, dope. The pollies, it seems, even have their own rules for their own little 'hood.
The rest of us can't be trusted to even surf the web as adults, or vote.

Here's another gem. Horrific child abuse in certain Indigenous communities was 'discovered' recently. The government banned Adult Erotica in all these communities as part of its response. To the masses, gee it looks neat and appropriate. They are applying 'white skinned' band-aids to an indigenous sore. But lets get back to a more familiar culture for a sec and compare apples with apples. Now, why is it that Priests, denied adult sexual release by their calling, have such a high tally of child abuse in their ranks? Could that possibly because of lack of a legitimate outlet? This brilliant cross-cultural knee-jerk is misguided at best and inflammatory at worst. Plus, at its lowest common denominator, its discriminatory to Aboriginals. The Howard government did it, but Rudd didn't say 'sorry' and reverse it, cos he's a God-fearing fool as well.

All I'm asking for is for one other Aussie on this site to get bothered enough to even comment on a political party that, for once, does not want to shoot, discriminate against, or deport, someone -or ban something...

Aha! That's it! The ASP are not big enough BASTARDS for em.

Here's the lesson Australians may be about to learn the hard way this summer. When Canberra have done legislating everyone else who can't afford to pay them off, and pandering to those that could actually be bothered get off their arses to make damn sure they impose their 'family values' lifestyle on you (forget about that Mosque next door mate, this is the bigger threat) they'll turn their sights on the softest mark -you and your 'filthy' Internet connection.
We get the Governments we deserve after all, it seems.

And I thought here in the UK was the "nanny state" these days.

They should change the name if they want people to join up.

"Hi, I'm your Sex Party candidate"

"What? Fuck off you perv".

How about the Freedom Party - nah, the Yanks fucked up the meaning of that word when they started applying it to food items.

I've got it!

The "Stop Treating Us Like Fucking Kids" party

Fits the Aussie tradition of straightforwardness.

Allow a pommie bastard to wish you luck with this. Governments shouldn't be allowed to tell people what they can & can't watch or read as long as no-one gets hurt by it.

As Heinrich Heine said:
"Wherever they burn books, they will also, in the end, burn people."

It could be a moot point anyway - The Australian navy is going to get a 2 month holiday over xmas. It's the perfect opportunity for New Zealand to invade & turn you into their West Island.

Their all alike in Australia-I know this as i am one...religious family values/hypocrites on the other..
The facts speak for themselves...80% of the Australian public say their affiliated with a religion...yet the adult industry is worth billions in australia

Cant help feeling this is the pseudo plan that John Howard proposed which entailed blocking everything at the ISP level except they really hadnt figured out how to do it without slowing the system down to a crawl...may still be the case

LMAO!
As they say, sex sells.... around election time canvassers will probably be drawn from off duty call-girls (who have everything to gain and nothing to lose by becoming party members) Plus the head of the party is a MILFish blonde. Added bonus, how the hell do you smear a Sex Party by accusing them of a sex scandal? LOL!

Er New Zealand invaded (by stealth) a long time ago. They keep us as pets, you know like those amusing 'sea monkeys' they used to sell in the back of old batman comics? "Sea monkeys! Watch them do fuck-all! Just add surf!"

RFMAO Bellsy,
Sometimes, Australians are, I'm ashamed to say, politically, just pathetic.

Amen to that Buttsie!
Don't even get me started on how steam-driven the Internet was until about last year, you couldn't get a decent DL speed unless you did it at work (cos no bastard could afford anything other than extortionate dial-up it at home) no wonder so many poor sods got fired for having porn on their drives at work a few years ago.
Now it actually works at home affordably, the pricks are going to shut most of it down!
They have the audacity to point the finger at Chinese Government censorship.
The implications of this are really really scary.
The Chinese get global companies to toe the line by sheer force of money (yet again) or rather, the threat of witholding access to their juicy markets.
So don't expect Google or Billy G (Gates not Graham!) to care.

Thankfully, our tin pot dictatorship don't have that much clout. I can see many 'pirate' providers working in nearby Asia making a fortune out of us, and I will be the first to flock to them if it comes to that.
By the way, I'll be holding an impromptu SEX PARTY rally this weekend, it kicks off in St.Cankers church hall (Kings Cross, next to the illegal Thai brothel) right after Evensong this sunday. All welcome! Ladies please bring a (hash) cake, Tea and Hypocrisy available for a gold coin donation.
