I'm trialling various AI enhancement solutions and Id be interested in seeing what others think I think it offers real opportunities for us.

Thos is the best I've achieved so far YouCam enhanced not perfect but an improvement imo (even if it looks a bit plasticky

The GFPGAN is very good for AI facial enhancement. On the huggingface site, there are numerous instances you can use. Sometimes pupils might come out a bit oversized or somewhat skewed but generally it works very well. There are about 3 variants within it and a restore former option too which gives a very realistic/good skin texture.

I would just like to chime in on the topic, if ya'll don't mind. The Original Real Photos are a million times better. There is/was not a thing wrong with 70s, 80s and 90s photography. Real over Fake anytime. It is really a shame to see that anyone would take a natural photo of a Beautiful Woman and add fake filters that where Natural Flash Tone, Peach Fuzz, Goosebumps and Pores are totally lost. I don't really understand why anyone would prefer the fake over Natural and Real.

The only thing I would want to see myself from AI or Animation is to create scenarios and situation that we haven't seen before from the performers. Create them in certain clothing combinations that we'd like to see them in as well.

(Note) My post is just my opinion on Filtering/Photoshopping over real Natural Photos and Film. No intensions on being confrontantional or offending!

I tend to hold the same opinion, but I think there is a role for enhancement for poor, blurred or small photos. The filters are getting better and better with respect to skin tone and texture. They are not fully there yet but for certain aspects like faces they are incredibly good. As to creating poses or scenarios, that has been somewhat achieved with portraits/head shots and the very latest tech is expanding into the realm of full 3D representations. There is still somewhat of a "plastic" look to much of this tech but in the very near future the quality will be realistic enough to fool the casual viewer.

I know exactly where you're coming from if we can get photos as they appear in a magazine without the scanned look itd be a big step in the right direction
