Strange But True ...
I found this picture and didn't know where it fit so I'm putting it under this catch all title. Feel free to add any unexplained or curious pictures of your own.
To the best of my knowledge this is a real Atoll and this image has not been altered. Free Image Hosting by ImageBam.com |

When common sense took the day off.
Nature gave us the following animals.
This lovely fellow is called a 'chimaera' Kinda makes a platypus look good. A star nosed mole. This thing is so ugly I couldn't think of a caption. Free Image Hosting by ImageBam.com |

Strange but NOT true!
Sorry to be a kill-joy, but the atoll photo IS a photoshop creation. The crescent part is real. Look up Molokini on Google ... it's a volcanic crater between the islands of Maui and Kahoolawe, in Hawaii. The star has just been added. |

A giant leaf tailed Gecko. WTF?
A giant Isopod. We don't need mini Isopods. I don't know this creatures name. It lives at the bottom of the ocean in total darkness. Goofy looking bugger. Free Image Hosting by ImageBam.com |

TC095 - Your fish with the transparent head is the "barreleye" fish, Macropinna microstoma.
Sorry - always been fascinated by strange photos! |

Some more ...
Love the look on this woman's face 'you $%^& bird!'
Reportedly goats in this part of the world climb trees. Who knew? I've had this old magazine ad for some time. It is said to be from a 70's era travel magazine. I've never seen any proof so I wasn't going to post it. However, with the knowledge in this group someone may know if its real. No disrespect to anyone who may have been involved in this tragedy. TC095: I believe the Pakistan International Airways ad appeared in the March 19th, 1979 issue of the French magazine "Le Point". With the benefit of hindsight, there are actually quite a few fairly creepy ads featuring the WTC towers.
There was even an August 1997 leaflet issued by the US Dept of Justice entitled "Emergency Response to Terrorism, Self Study" which showed crosshairs centred on the WTC. |

Thanks for the info sqigg58.
Slap a cigar in his mouth and name him Winston. Reportedly, while running a new power line, the crew on the other end felt a tug when they tried to tighten the line. When they went back to see why this is what they found. A full grown moose caught in the line. Hoax or not? Free Image Hosting by ImageBam.com |
