Common sense at last,Whether or an offender is still a danger to the public should not be the only criteria,I'm not even sure that it should be the first criteria.If He had been tried for all of His offenses,It would not have been so bad.There were many women,Victims whose cases were not brought forward,Who were no doubt assured that Worboys would spend decades inside.
I would dearly like to see the reasons for the original decision.It can only have been due His spinning a convincing tale of how He's now a totally reformed character,The board should have borne in mind that His whole offending was based on His being very persuasive..

OF course Mark Zuckerberg can extend two fingers in the direction of the select committee-in a well recognised universal gesture if he so feels inclined.....that will irritate a few more people-and confirm a lot more peoples' opinion of the man.....but Facebook is largely a law unto itself.

I just wonder if the situation were reversed how much pressure would be put on a Briton to attend a US hearing-I bet they would be more forceful. Look how they used homeland security to put pressure on, but eventually lose out, trying to get two hackers with Aspergers to answer for their so-called crime. Maybe WE stuck two fingers up to the US.

For an average user it's relatively easy, to block an IP in a country (search- engines translate to IP's). That's not 100% save but ~>95%, if one wants to block a site.
A country doesn't need so much infrastructure, to block a few (well known !) IP's, if it's running with the countries network lines.

I fear the British government itself would have not much interests in enlightenments in those case with 'Facebook' and 'Cambridge Analytica', because they had in the past contracts themselves with 'Cambridge Analytica'. (I've written it before).

Keyword 'Brexit' ; it is most widely unknown if and how far that company was involved in that process. And if: the interests of enlightenment wouldn't be high, as one can easily imagine.

Can't quite agree.

The parameters set for the parole board have been wrong for ages. There are simply things that they are not permitted to take into account. The Prosecution Service (woefully underfunded BTW) has more to answer for by not pursuing the dozens of other cases. As there was no conviction, the Board could not take them into account.

That will change now according to reports.

As for Mr Hardwick, he was doing a good job - tackling delays and cracking on with what he was asked to do. Even a spokesman for Worboy's victims does not blame him for the decision but recognises that, unlike many other less principled chiefs, he has fallen on his sword and declined to allow any subordinate to take the blame.

Please note Mr Zuckerberg.

A professor has worked that out kids would have to spend £773.60p to fill their 2018 Panini sticker albums with sticker packs up from 50p to 80p-that's a little steep, however one of the joys of collecting football stickers is swapping with your friends but it is still a lot more expensive than when we were kids collecting. The playgrounds echoed to the sounds of "got" and "need" but we also used to flick for stickers - the furthest it travelled, the better chance of winning. Halcyon days!
