Dead Sea (2014)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1663222/

A really confusing WTF alleged sea-monster yarn that is frankly all over the show and full credit to you if you can figure out what the hell is going on. It looks interesting but all I can really gather is that a town has to sacrifice a native every 30 years

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5g_Y1MeLLU

If you are being stalked by a psycho nutter with a gun would you
1 - catch him by surprise, hit him once an run away ..... or
2 - catch him by surprise, hit him hard and when he falls hit him until his head caves in

Guess what option our heroine chooses ??

Not only is it confusing but it's filmed in darkness so you cannot even see what is going on at times.

Big Grin Having seen all of this is proof positve that if ‎Teresa Palmer is in a movie I`ll watch it , even if it`s a barmy makes no sense love story

An overelaborate script re-written too many times and dreadful editing can make even the most decently acted and directed film = Reek !

Is about how a likeable man's life is derailed when an ominous pattern of events repeats itself in exactly the same manner every day, ending at precisely 2:22 p.m.
I`d expected a Sci Fi fantasy thing full of suspense and drama. Instead it turned into a does cosmic fate exist doolally. An answer it poses yet doesn't bother to bleeding well answer.
Yeah ,charming
Mind Theresa is as stunning as ever so I`d give her at least one

I mean I`ll give the film one

Default Laurel Canyon 2002

Laurel Canyon" is not a successful movie - I found it a bit of a bore

This was one of those movies that I think because of the premise, gets great reviews in alternative weekly presses, but strip away the shock value of the story and you get a movie filled with characters that you really don't care about. So many people are lauding Frances McDermott's performance, well just because the dinner is made with good ingredients doesn't mean the meal will be superb.
a typical film , where you can have world class actors but if the script and the heart of the film are missing - its not much fun

Occupant (2011)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1671582/

When Danny's grandmother dies, apparently from a heart attack, he inherits her apartment but there is a catch, he has to move in and live there for 12 days before he owns it outright so his lawyer can manoeuvre round the rent issues. He moves in with his cat and after a few days strange things start to happen and he realises he may not be on his own.

Red face Only streaming it as seen the previous four

Am halfway through and there`s no point mentioning the plot as it`s sort of the same one from the first film. Plus the other three that followed. Only rehashed with a different villain. Who is excellent. But then Javier Bardem is an excellent actor who excels at creepy sinister.
Feeling like I did during the third mummy movie though. As the producers are trying to reboot the franchise here with a younger pairing . Who they must have been hoping would lead to other sea faring snooze inducing stories.
Damn , aren't you all sick of these forced down our throats franchises
Know I am

Effects are great so coupled with Captain Armando Salazar I`ll give it a single

Its like the Marvel DC Comics franchises that are rinse and repeat - the only Sci-Fi Film lately that felt like it was fresh and new ( and exciting ) was Dredd ( 2012 )
- it might not have made much at the box office -
78 % Fresh Rating on Rotten Tomatoes -
Critics Consensus: Fueled by bombastic violence and impressive special effects, rooted in self-satire and deadpan humor, Dredd 3D does a remarkable job of capturing its source material's gritty spirit.

in short , if anyone has NOT seen it , watch it , far better than the Stallone Film -
I highly recommend it

Stallone's "Judge Dredd" had the money and CGI and felt more futuristic, but Karl Urban's "Dredd" is a genuinely good film, imo. Dredd was grittier, and didn't suffer Rob Schneider in "silly sidekick" mode.
Also Urban kept his Judge helmet on - something that has always pi$$ed me off about the Stallone version...

Demon Tongue (2016)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3771510/

A bar owner hires a team of ghost hunters to try and prove there is no truth behind the spooky rumours surrounding the local area, of course there is . Nothing special but a few nude scenes helped alleviate the boredom

In this coming-of-age comedy, Tim Dunphy (Shawn Hatosy) is leading a go-nowhere existence, spending his days smoking pot and hanging out with his best friend, Drugs Delaney (Jon Abrahams). But Tim's lazy days of getting high are jettisoned after a brush with the law convinces his blue-collar dad (Alec Baldwin) to send him to a Connecticut prep school. The one saving grace of the new school is Jane (Amy Smart), a fellow student Tim falls for immediately.
