That's BS and you know it. The travel was not supported - the decision was on procedure not the ban, SC basically said you've got to October to fix it. Georgia was a very narrow win when it should have been a republican safe seat landslide, economy's got nothing to do with Trump, if you said the Stock market, which is based on emotion in the short term, you might have a point, CNN did NOT say the Russia story is a lie, the story was that they didn't have any proof yet - the pundits resigned for not following procedure, unlike the perversion of ethics exemplified by Trump and his family. He's still in trouble and the train is still stuck in the station. Good luck with the feel good rhetoric, self delusion eventually implodes.

There are several threads to the Russia story. 1) How far have the Russians penetrated into our electoral system? Are we vulnerable to their (or the Chinese, Democrats or Republicans) hacking voting machines or registration records? 2) Is Trump financially beholden to the Putin circle and Russian banks? Remember that there are claims out there that Trump's sons stated in 2013 that Russians were loaning them development funds. 3) Did members of Trump's campaign organization collude with Wikileaks and Russian spy or propaganda agencies to influence the election?

My judgment is #1 is very true and an alarming vulnerability, #2 is probably BS or we would have seen a leak by now, #3 is probably true based on the smoke leaking out, but that Trump was not personally involved. Our domestic "intelligence" apparatus is shockingly bad. The CIA started out being run by a bunch of anti-Communist ideological cowboys (and Nazi sympathizers) and has never really developed into a world class professional espionage service. This is not helped by self-serving political hacks routinely sabotaging operations and outing resources that took years to develop. The NSA is overwhelmingly staffed by private contractors and is plagued by even more leaks than the CIA. Edward Snowden is sort of a hero. Several other contractors have been busted for passing classified information to the Chinese or Russians in exchange for money. The FBI is staffed by Dudley Do Right cops and has huge blind spots.

While I am disparaging the U.S. intelligence establishment, let me remark that others may be just as bad. The British were found to be heavily infiltrated by Russian moles and double agents. Who knows whether that's still true. As bad as the CIA and NSA are, they do seem to have penetrated the Russian government. The Russians are often so clumsy that they are easily unmasked and caught. China recently rolled up a network in their intelligence establishment that was working for us. Who knows if that was the only one or how long it will take before they are compromised again. It is very much a truism that a secret known by two people is usually revealed. If it is known by three, it will almost certainly leak. With four or more, it is no longer a secret.

Disregarding my feelings against Trump, this John Stossel video was interesting.

The 2nd Amendment comment was taken out of context. The DNC funded the violence that (11 minute mark) the media used and still uses against Trump supporters. The media bias is clearly shown and discussed.

I am still glad that Hillary lost. I still think Trump will get himself impeached.

Trump has big time problems now. I am not sure that he can survive this one. There are also reports that he regularly under reports the number of strokes taken when recording his golf scores.

I have invested in the stock market for a long time. Between 2010 and 2016 the value of my investments doubled. Who was President? Obama. Do I give him credit for this? Not in the slightest. Nor will I give Trump any credit for the very meager appreciation in my holdings since he took office. The stock market is based primarily on speculation, not economics.

If you want to give Trump credit for the stock market fine. But if you do, he's way behind Obama. You can't have it both ways.
