Delta Air Lines and Bank of America have pulled sponsorships from The Public Theater in New York, following the backlash surrounding the theater's new adaptation of "Julius Caesar," which depicts the leading tyrant as President Trump.

In a series of tweets, Delta stated the The Public Theater's version "does not reflect Delta Airline's values," and that they have pulled their sponsorship "effective immediately."

Bank of America said in a statement on Twitter that they would be cutting ties with the production, noting that the theater, "chose to present 'Julius Caesar' in such a way that was intended to provoke and offend."

However, the company, which has sponsored The Public Theater for 11 years, said they would continue their financial relationship with the venue.

The Shakespeare in the Park play tells the story of Julius Caesar's assassination over fears that the leader has become tyrannical. In lieu of the original setting, the production incorporates American imagery and visuals, including Caesar and his wife, Calpurnia, who are altered to look like Donald and Melania Trump.

'Why muslims were the first to save tower residents lives.'

It claims that muslims were still awake because of Ramadan and were able to alert others about the fire. The writer lays it on thick .

'A witness said that Muslim residents banged on the doors of neighbours and helped guide them to safety out of the tower.'

So a tragedy is turned to a piece of PC crap.
