In my case, living well away from large cities, the latest police activity is making money from speed cameras on empty, previously de-restricted stretches of road. And as if this wasn't enough, I believe all the fines are going up shortly. Bad drivers are certainly a menace, but people occasionally breaking the rules can be given a bit of slack in my book.

We can see why the MSM and the Mayoral Office don't want to discuss these murders. They don't fit their narrative.

Read this morning that a number of knives and other sharp instruments have been confiscated from school children since 2015 - a Samurai sword for one-how the hell did they get that into school? It is a very worrying trend for kids as young as five to carry a weapon to feel safe. I hope we don't go down the route of American schools with detector arches because school is supposed to be the one place that parents are happy to send their kids to be educated and learn of the world. I can recall when I was young that some people would be outside of our school trying to recruit for the National Front - that was scary enough, but for kids nowadays to only feel safe by carrying a knife or a sword or whatever is terrible. Something has to be done.

Man it was humid yesterday even though it was quite cold downstairs in the lounge upstairs in the attic it was a different kettle of fish, it was quite warm yet we did have a little rain and today we had more which is desperately needed by some areas and gardens. Looks like it will continue to be warm next week but without the humidity we hope.

Now cyber attackers especially ransomware exploiters are parasitic vermin at the best of times and there does not seem to be much effort made to find these lowlife twats, we hear so little about these scum being investigated and caught.
By attacking the NHS these particularly abhorrent snotrags could put lives at risk, rather than spying on what sites we visit it may be an idea if HMG & cyberplod put more effort into the viler types of computer crimes such as paedos and these ransomware turds.
I hope this manages to get past the blinkered view of those control freak idiots at Whitehall and they realise that they are pissing valuable resources away by concentrating on what porn sites adults are visiting

I see on BBC Media Centre that from this September comes the return of Saturday morning kids television. Those of us who grew up with Multi-coloured Swap Shop, Saturday Superstore and Going Live and Live and Kicking will remember just how good these programmes were and unique in the case of Swap Shop where you could talk to your favourite tv, film or pop star directly on the phone(if you were lucky enough to get through) although sometimes this was fraught with danger(two callers swore live on the phone at them) as Five Star and Matt Bianco found to their cost once. Anyway it is amazing to think after all this time(I think the last show was called TMI-Too Much Information) that today's kids will be able to enjoy the sort of shows that we did.
