[MTC] Ninian O | Kate Costa
A new model thread was now created from all the stuff posted here. Pretty good job, guys.
http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/t43...kate-costa.htm I thought that was Kerry Lou Bayliss, and posted accordingly, but one of the regulars of the thread said that it was not her. So who is it then? Another cover with her I just stumbled upon... Mag number is 169 which should be from 1986, but the image may well be a few years old by then... |

"Mary P" in US Club, 2/77, pix by Eugene Finkei and just a total wow. Your pic may be from that shoot; looks like the same sheer black bedjacket she wears for it. See here for the M.O. version of that issue. Also ID as "Mary P" there.
Code:

I knew I used her likeness to Kerry Lou Bayliss in my first post, so I searched for "Bayliss" in this section and nothing came up. But the above entry does indeed mention "Bayliss", so I'm a bit surprised this did not show up on a search. Are there issues with the searchability of the mystery box? |

That mystery box post was made by merging two of your posts that were in the same request thread, I've no idea why it didn't show up in searches though.

Just thought, this thread will have to be moved to the bin because you already have a request open for this model.

but searching items in the mystery box is generally a hard task - for example i keep on track with my unknowns always by storing the post ID (i name the folder with the content of my unknown with that post ID). but by mod actions, such an ID can change. beside that a move from a thread (if just one post) into a different thread the original thread ID gets lost (therefore i don't use the thread ID as folder name), post merges lead to the situation that one post looses its post ID as well. also, if you don't take care of titles, titles get lost, too. also it can happen that posts have been re-dated to match the month-based addition of a request - which leads to a different post ID as well. this all makes it hard to find original requests when they were moved to the mystery box. there isn't really a good solution to solve this issue, but at least there is a way to stay on track: check all monthly additions of mystery posts (they are announced by exfarmer in the section news thread) if posts of yourself were added. then store the post url in the mystery box to your own image collection of your unknowns, f.e. as hyperlink shortcut - or as bookmark in your browser. you find the post url behind the post number.

I normally keep track of my stuff through my subscriptions. But our mystery box system made that threat disappear as well. I am not convinced this is a good system. I'd rather keep the old (unresolved) threads searchable in some generally accessible dumping ground (these could be closed threads), and leave a link to the box entry in the old thread. Those links would have the advantage (I assume ) that the vbulletin software should keep them up-to-date, and the old threads have the advantage that the posters are automatically subscribed to them. |
