It's becoming a possibility that the Ireland cricket team may achieve test status this year. England v Ireland test matches sound like they could be a good watch.

Should know one way or the other by July. Good luck Ireland.

But were you or the people you know a 4 year-old kid not necassarily habituated to sleeping pills at the time?

Well it's definitely not the "things noticeable about strong mints" thread .

I made a great post yesterday about something really interesting I'd heard about Fisherman's Friend lozenges and it got deleted.

Modern sleeping pills are usually benzodiazepines - whether you are "habituated" to them or not would not increase the risk of a fatal overdose.

Death as a result of taking an excessive dose of benzodiazepines alone is uncommon but does occasionally happen. You have to take massive amounts.

However, combinations of high doses of benzodiazepines with alcohol, barbiturates, opioids or tricyclic antidepressants are particularly dangerous,

Things like robberies, major incidents etc are posted here by the bucket-load if you take the time to look. All parts of the UK are also covered but as this is a global forum we also hear about things from abroad that we may have otherwise missed.
Something amazing happening to you depends on how you define amazing, if you are just posting to say you or your dog has a cold it's amazing to absolutely no one. The thread title is Things Noticeable not just things I have noticed this week.
There is nothing wrong with the thread as it is which is why it is so popular.

Errr,

Things I Noticed This Week

I ran out of cleaning fluid for my spectacles

Half the spaghetti I made on Wednesday is still in the fridge (wasn't real good)

It's getting colder here, had a massive series of storms and heavy rain Tuesday and Wednesday

I'll be missing out on a round of golf this week

Trump, Merkel, May, Kim something Korean, Putin etc etc are still all idiots
I didn't include the Aussie PM as most wouldn't even know or care who he is, but, yes he's an idiot also along with the opposition leader

The Catholic Church still hasn't sanctioned gay marriage , just thought I'd throw that in for no real reason

And, And , And my blood pressure is still high

I hate it when even the weather forecasts waste time jabbering on about 'what it was like today/yesterday' - I KNOW, what it WAS like, I want to know what it will be like TOMORROW!

As for 'something amazing that happened to you' - maybe we don't all lead such exciting lives'

These drugs like zopiclone are easily available on the internet as is all the information about them if you want to look. I bought 100 once for a tenner from Singapore (though I wouldn't recommend it) If it was so easy and peaceful kill yourself with them do you really think people would go through the expense and horror of having to go to Dignitas.

I smell bullshit by the truckload here from both sides

Trump praises China's Xi over handling of North Korea
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-39741671

As far as I can see China is doing just a tad more than jack shit to help here and pandering to those inscrutable murderers who run that very large country (no way can it be classed as a super-power) is just trying to see they do not lose face.
If China really wanted to rein in their rabid puppy they could have done it long ago, North Korea is nothing without China. China has let Kim behave like a spoiled bastard far too long as they wanted a bulwark against South Korea and mad Kimmy now thinks he is invincible. This problem is entirely of China's making and they should get off the fence and a good start is maybe to block all non food exports to North Kimrea.
I fear however that it may be too late and that action should have been taken before the current retarded spawn of the Kim family came to power.

Disappointing that all the members of the far left and far right are still in the gene pool.

Neither Coulter or other than a few Anti-Fa showed up. Police actually forced people to remove masks. The Berkeley Bore-athon was dull. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/ber...cid=spartandhp
