So far you are right.

But like in every living language the meaning of the synonym has changed since than. "Prolet" or "Proll" has the meaning nowadays in German as I have described it in my last post.
The accent of those and more their (catastrophic) German grammar is also important - you are right - but in German that is highly different from region to region.

My girlfriend back in the 80s was half-German and went on to be a teacher of German in Britain. She told me that the reason this song was funny was because of the particular Bavarian accent in which they sung it - a fact that was completely lost on the British when it became a hit over here.

Could you identify exactly what accent it is and what 'culture' it represents?

Not at all. That -slightly- accent is more or less from the north of Germany.

But don't try to find a sense of the words of this song - there is non. The words got constantly repeated.

The music direction is representing "The New German Wave" , however, I've no clue of this kind of music.

I know plenty of people who would be classed as Chavs by the Tarquins and Mirandas of this world and I consider them to be my friends, whereas I have no time at all for Tarquin and Miranda. I am at least as big a snob as anyone else here on VEF and probably a worse snob than the Queen. I resent this attitude. It makes me cross. People up North are neither ignorant nor stupid and their opinions are just as valid as those of the London intelligentsia. Also I'm from a respectable working-class family whose parents in their later years had a family of these 'Jeremy Kyle guests' (if you prefer) moved next door to them and were abused, threatened, harassed by them for years until one was sent to prison. Though of course they are not all like this. But it is a massive social problem one that won't be solved by them blaming immigrants for their unemployability or laziness.

Why do you assume chavs are from up North, there are just as many in the South, though maybe not living next door to you? I haven't had it soft though luckily I had the opportunity to go to University and met many Tarquins including future Tory MPs - who I would never vote for knowing what they really thought of the rest of us plebs.

I feel far more in common with the European citizens I've met in my life than either end of our unfortunate class spectrum. Maybe because they are from more egalitarian societies.

I also don't like the assumption from leave voters that 'remoaners' should shut up and they know exactly the reasons why people voted 'leave'.
They don't. And they don't know what sort of Brexit deal they all wanted even if they had any idea at all. We all should have a say in that not just the 51% and not just the Brexiteer Tories.
