Did you know, as a survey revealed earlier this year, that men can solve murders in television dramas faster than women - why? well according to said survey the women get too caught up in the emotion of the scenes and so don't always work out who the killer is-this seems to tie in well with my father, who can watch something like Murder, She Wrote OR Midsomer Murders and know who did it within the hour or so.

When you listen to the intro of the song Roxanne (Police) you can hear a strange sound then Sting is laughing (at 0:07).
Actually, it's because when recording the song in studio, Sting accidently hit the piano with his butts. That produced the strange sound and then make him laugh. Finally, they kept this sequence in the final release. http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=1264 |

On the same theme of Sting, he sings a line from My Fair Lady at the end of The Police's controversial song'Invisible Sun' sung by Audrey Hepburn - "All I want is a room somewhere, far away from the cold night air" and in the video for Spirits In the Material World where Sting plays a few notes on the piano, he actually misses his cue and the notes start up before he hits them Finally whilst doing an interview with Jonathan King for his then music show 'Entertainment USA' on BBC2, Sting and Stewart Copeland(Drummer) grabbed each other and wrestled on the stage but Sting ended up breaking a few ribs!

Just in case some of you are having difficulty with the above post and have had to read it over and over again and it's not sunk in here it is in pictures .
Now memorise those 3 images because it's highly unlikely you will hear the words sadiq father and bus ever mentioned again by Mr Kahn himself or any of the labour hierarchy |

He is as damn sight better choice than that blustering Bullingdon Club blonde oaf we had before. What did Boris know about poverty or the working man?

Patsy Kensit's (British actress known for 'Casualty' and 'Lethal Weapon2') father was an East End criminal who ran with both the Richardsons and the notorious Ronnie & Reggie -aka the Kray Twins's gang. The Krays mixed with celebrities including Barbara Windsor, whose own husband Ronnie Knight was linked to the Krays too. They used to say that London was safer when they were around, and for ordinary people that was probably true, and there was more respect for property and things, but both the Kray brothers were vicious thugs and did unspeakable things to people who wronged them, like poor old Jack 'The Hat' McVitie and there were some corrupt policemen who turned a blind eye to it. Some peple held them as legends and latter-day Robin Hoods but this is wrong. They were, despite all their glamour and gloss, (and like the Great Train Robbers, Ronnie Biggs & Buster Edwards), these were nasty individuals who got their comeuppance in the end.

Did you know that (according to a programme on TV last week) Sting makes more money off the royalties on "Every Breath You Take" than all the other Police songs put together.
