My late uncle was a cop in Amherst, NY where O.J. lived when he played for the Bills. They were called out to the Simpson residence many a time. By the time of the murder trial, the files on those calls had been destroyed as a matter of procedure.

This could be the end of the story, but tough to say. This is not 1995-2008 where he could go party drink and do what he wants in Florida. He's 70 but what's he going to do with his time not running softball leagues or baptist churches because he's not going to have groups of people around him or assigned jobs, and his kids have their own lives. People keep talking about this man like he's going to go play golf daily again, he's not in his forties anymore. Parole will be a different prison entirely for him and something completely new. He cannot go out and drink to excess which seems vague and there will be people constantly photographing him or setting him up to violate parole, he's going to need some real security and live a very controlled life. There are a lot of people out there who want him in jail for 1994, and more than enough judges like Jackie Glass who would be thrilled to give him a max term for anything. This sentence was a joke and payback, the people with the guns got paroled and only one person who did not do a deal got 2 years. It will be interesting to see if the prison system does leak to the media when he gets out of LoveLock and violate his privacy. Last edited by Baxter49; July 21st, 2017 at 10:52 PM.. |

I feel for the Goldman family. Their son was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I don't give a damn about OJ and care even less about Nicole. He had a trial and he was acquitted. End of story. She wanted to attach herself to OJ's celebrity and that bet didn't pay off for her in the end. The verdict was payback for the Rodney King verdict. Jury nullification. The acquittal was probably a good thing, really. It spared us from more riots. I'll bet black America would trade that OJ acquittal for just one guilty verdict in any of these recent cop shooting trials. More jury nullification, perhaps?

I would expect he's probably broke or close to it anyway.I figured that's why he was trying to get those things back that he got in trouble over in the first place. The lawyers probably took just about all he had to wiggle him out of the murder rap.I don't believe in karma really but sometimes it can be hell.I think money is really the only thing that meant anything to him anyway.

Anyone see the new CNN documentary on the Fuhrman tapes Friday? Insane how bad he really was and he was still recording tapes after O.J got arrested in 1994.
Plus Laura Hart-McKinny had a brief romance with him before he started doing the tapes. He was presented as a reformed man in O.J made in America, who turned around his career, and was a top detective, he really abused women cops too. Last edited by Baxter49; July 22nd, 2017 at 09:05 PM.. |

I thought he was totally busted, guess not. He can live quite nicely on that. I wonder if as part of his parole he has to get a job? If so, who would hire him?

It was interesting, his parole could last five years or be cut or ended for good behavior or they could enforce the entire sentence which would mean his parole would end when he was 92 or 94? Was watching what I recorded the other day, some amazing stuff listening to practically everyone lie even based on their own words in OJ Made in America where they were interviewed (which is less than a year old) and the guy guarding the juice Jeffery Felix with his book talking about Simpson's penis size and even the guy on television thinking he was nuts. I still can't believe Simpson was caught on a hot mic for several minutes just before the commission came in with their decision on live television ripping the prison guard. https://www.bustle.com/p/who-is-jeff...te-fraud-71626 Where did Simpson get that lawyer? Bob Odenkirk would have be far superior acting like an attorney. Last edited by Baxter49; July 22nd, 2017 at 09:04 PM.. |

In US the incomes untouchable depend on law of State where enforcement of judgment is attempted. No necessary uniformity, but pensions typically protected. Protection for royalties sounds like a Californica thing, but maybe that's enough. If he really has this much income, why the desperation of the armed robbery. Doesn't add up. He must have lawyers' & other bills up to his nostrils. Did he ever declare bankruptcy?
