Due to the terrible pimp & host picture the vehicle to the right of the ISU 152 is a SU 100 or Su 85. From the main gun mount I go with the SU 100.

In terms of operational service and the number of countries that brought them and used them in war, there can't be many other tanks out there that can match that. Maybe the Sherman and some Soviet Cold War era tanks?

I totally agree. The Israelis up gunned them with the superb British L7 105 mm gun and stuck the excellent American V12 GM diesel engines in them, making them way more reliable. Some are still in service today having been converted to Armoured APCs.

Another tank I would like to add to the top ten is the American M48/M60 series. Whilst not ground breaking or stunning in anyway, they have nevertheless proved to be solid, reliable types. The Israelis have been using them since 1967 and were still in service, with reserve units, up to 2015.
