Empornium was great up until the hostile takeover which led to cheggit being started. After that I used cheggit more than Empornium. Still sad to see that it's gone though.

R.I.P. Like many others, I have both downloed and uploaded a large number of files. Very sad to see them go. I do hope a good replacement will emerge from the ashes.

As some of you know, puretna is where I got my start with the classics -- made my first rips (700MB AVIs) back in 2005 and upped them as torrents at TnA. We had a thriving classics community there with many rippers and posters in 2006 and 2007, and a lot of the classic porn posted at VEF in the early years originally came from TnA. Rippers included many familiar names like ott666, pookymeister, RickyDoodle, StonePoney, rattelsnake, cadillac70, illwit295, Perversive, Jos001, noricus, GuyGadbois, malvolio, RaiNBoWWW, shunt82969, Videodrome, Hodag, br9zil0, kootykat, Wander144, northernr, flailer, WellyMan (and yours truly).

One of the newer TnA mods is a member here at VEF and he confirmed that the site was hacked (probably by a new staff member) and that the owners were not planning to re-open puretna or empornium.

BM is still there Brother Poppypuss. But, as you probably already know, they're no TNA or EMP. Downloads speeds are incredibly fast at BM, but upload speeds take forever. It's not easy to keep a decent share ratio. They do have plenty of UK stuff over there though.

I had an issue with virus a few months back. I caught it from TNA. Since then, I installed NoScript to my Firefox browser & haven't had any issues. I was oblivious to the monster virus you guys speak of.

Yeah, you get a message that says check back later because they prune memberships regularly. Well, there's always BushT's. Again, no TNA or EMP, but they have some decent stuff.

There's still plenty of torrent sites about, Adult Cinema has just ordered a new server to cope with the demand, soon refugee posters will be popping up all over the place, and with ratios to build up, I predict boom times ahead.
