Why yes of course we're caringly close.. Have I ever said anything to hint otherwise ?

Had only just learned SinisterSisterJoker might be popping round to visit (IE the bitch wants something) today (On no, won't give me a time). But that bit of flukey luck news has cheered me right up Be even more cheery if she decides not to come here. Although that`ll then mean it`ll be texts and voice messages. Still those are preferable to having to see both of her foul faces in person

Gerald Okamura guest starred in a Power Rangers episode. In the Alien Rangers miniseries, I just finished that episode. He was a wise man that guided young Adam in his quest to obtain a Zeo sub-crystal. The story was that a bad guy turned spun the world reverse like in Superman, turning the Power Rangers into kids and them losing their ability to morph. Then their Power Coins were destroyed, so their only hope was gathering the Zero sub-crystals. Anyways, yeah, Okamura is probably most known for being in Big Trouble In Little China, but I first saw him in the classic Samurai Cop. He was also in one or more Andy Sidaris movies.

What have I learned today?
That it is always a good idea to keep a spare change of clothes at work!
Golf is an evil sport, but I still love to play it! If you're not a math person, it's good to have a friend that is!

A couple of days ago I Googled Wilko Johnson (it's not a crime ) as i'd heard he had been given around 9 months to live in January 2013, due to pancreatic cancer . He declined chemotherapy.
He is still kicking ass. That cheered me up, as does the music he recorded with Roger Daltry! |

But saw him live last year with Norman Watt-Roy (bass) and Dylan Howe (drums) - real, gritty R&B. The umpteenth time I've seen him since Dr Feelgood days. A legend! |

It doesn't matter what time I sleep, but hitting an 8 hour minimum makes me fully awake. My sleeping schedule has crossed into unique territory where I sleep between 6-9PM and wake up between 1-3AM. I slept at 6:30PM yesterday and woke up at 3:45AM, so about 9 hours. I felt like I could conquer the world, but now being up for over 4 hours, I squandered that by watching Q&A panels with Power Rangers cast members and playing Pokemon Showdown (competitive battle simulator).

Shocker
I have learned today that many, many parents in Britain are struggling with the burden of having physically disabled children.
It's so sad seeing them having no choice but to pull up on the double yellow lines right outside the school to drop their kids off because the poor little mites cannot walk 50 yards from a legitimate parking spot. Of course this means that all the other traffic - delivery vans, bin lorries, emergency ambulances etc. - cannot get through for ages but I guess that is a small price to pay to ensure that the young, fat, wheezy kids who cannot walk can get the education they deserve. My heart goes out to them. |

What have I learned today? That the odds of me having to bum rides, take the train to work, walk a lot more and get my bicycle in full working order have gone way up, due to the fact that my 15-year old car quit on me while I was on my way to work. I knew this day was coming, and the new job I started three weeks ago will eventually provide me with enough money to get a new car, but that will take some time.
It is possible that a few minor repairs will keep the old girl on the road for a little while longer, but I'm not holding my breath.
