It sure does pal, it sure does...I've searched high and low for a larger, hi-res version of this shot but...if anyone out there has one POST IT!! Glad to see you're starting to get into the act here backdoorman...before the moderaters scold you: if you want to post more than an image at a time you should post clickable thumbnails using Imagevenue which is real easy to do. Just find their site and follow the instructions for free uploading and posting on a forum.

Some of you are old enough to remember the Battle Of The Network Stars specials that appeared on U.S. TV in the 1970s & '80s. For the uninitiated: these were TV specials broadcast once or twice a year where stars from various TV shows would compete against each other in various competions and "sports" events. The teams were organized by network; the stars of ABC series would compete against the stars of shows from CBS and NBC (FOX didn't exist at this time). Usually the competions were the stuff of holiday parties and company picnics: the softball dunk-tank, inflatable kayak races in a swimming pool, tug-of-war, obstacle course runs, etc. Swimming events also existed and since Lynda* had a swimming background....suffice it to say these specials, although insipid, were visual feasts: Adrienne Barbeau, Lynda Carter, Heather Locklear, Heather Thomas, Victoria Principal, Tracy Scoggins, Catherine Bach & Charlene Tilton were but a few of the lovelies clad in swimsuits that couldn't help but get all wet and clingy after they'd been in the dunk tank or the swim race. You really haven't lived until you've seen Adrienne Barbeau and Lynda Carter running the obstacle course...what follows are some promo shots and vidcaps of Lynda at these events. I apologize for the quality of the vidcaps; they were taken off of a bootleg DVD I ran across some time back which was no doubt programmed from old VHS tapes and what you see is the best visual quality I could muster with PowerDVD's settings. Enjoy...

Hello. I'm back from vacation. And do I have some cool stuff for you guys.

First, a few Partners In Crime and Battle Of The Network Stars pix I just located...



Here's some killer pix of Lynda in swimwear and workout gear, including some shots from her beauty paegant days. I've intentionally posted a few dupes which are slightly different versions of the same image. Some of these scans are pretty big so give them time to download (I know you will)...















And lastly, for you fetishists out there (is that even a word?), here's some pix of Lynda tied-up and gagged (which doesn't happen often enough for me I have to admit) from Wonder Woman...

Just before Lynda's career took off with Wonder Woman, she starred in a low-budget, "B" movie called Bobbie Jo And The Outlaw which was released in 1976. Starring Marjoe Gortner--who dated Lynda for a while--this was a low-rent, exploitation rip-off of Bonnie And Clyde that is virtualy unwatchable except for Lynda's, now-famous (or infamous) nude scenes--the first and only time she ever appeared nude before the camera (any other nudes you may have seen are fakes). Grainy vidcaps and film-frames have circulated for years, first in magazines like High Society, Celebrity Skin, and Celebrity Sleuth, and later on the internet.

The Pix that follow are what I have handy from this film, including promo pix, movie posters, and vidcaps (not mine). Unfortunately I don't have the time to enlarge and enhance the pix and caps that need it (which is most of them) so I apologize for the variable quality and small size of some of these. Apparently the film has recently been released on DVD so when I get a chance I'll make proper vidcaps and post them here (as well as the High Society article). Until then, I offer you some appetizers.

I've begun taking vidcaps from Bobbie Jo And The Outlaw and--due to strong demand from some quarters--am now posting the first batch. I'd also like to get some FEEDBACK on what you think about the quality of the caps. Having said that, keep in mind that beyond brightness, contrast, and color saturation, there's very little I can do to improve the visual quality of caps taken from a DVD programmed from an old, well-worn VHS copy most likely tranfered using amature equipment and technique. I can adjust the bright/contrast/color to some degree, but the graininess and fuzzy appearance is an unfortunate side-effect of the source material (the original film was no doubt shot on grainy-looking "fast film" stock which requires less light than film stocks normally used to shoot features, thus saving the producers money on lighting equipment).

The first two vidcap posts represent about the first ten minutes of the film. I wanted to post these and get FEEDBACK before I start capping Lynda's first topless scene. You'll notice that I used a few different bright/contrast/color settings on the early caps of Lynda waitressing at the drive-in; I did this on purpose to give an idea of the "possibilities" (or lack thereof) of what the caps can look like. By the by, the first cap is of the DVD "menu" as I thought some of you would be interested in seeing this graphic.

I will only be capping Lynda's scenes as I refuse to waste time capping what is otherwise a piece of shit movie. The next group (part 3) should be up by the end of next week or sooner. The whole capping process is very time-consuming; what you see here represents about 4+ hours of work and is roughly a third of the caps I originally took. So, patience please. And karma please. This is the FIRST time that extensive vidcaps of this film have been posted on the internet (believe me, I've scrounged the web long enough to know) and VEF is the ONLY place where I'm posting them (which doesn't preclude others from re-posting them elsewhere which I'm sure will happen once we get to the nude scenes); you are witnessing internet history here folks! Thank You. 'Nuff said. :
