Is "ex-girlfriend" a bit of internet slang?

When someone says in a post that's my ex-girlfriend, is that to be taken literally? Or is ex-girlfriend some kind of porn slang?

A gay guy on one site appears to have many (beautiful) ex-girlfriends, perhaps to draw email. On the other hand, when someone claims to have a real honey as an ex-girlfriend, it's hard to verify.

Have no idea what this thread is exactly about but i dont have a problem with blokes showing photos of their exs providing you can clearly see the girl was perfectly up for having it taken .And the photo isnt too graphic and the girl in it is a looker. Naturally

Only time i get a bit weirded out is when someone on here goes on about being a randy woman who is up for it and whatever. Because unless she looks like bernard manning i dont think theres a woman in the world who if she let a bloke know she was gagging for it wouldnt five seconds later be getting it. Probably even if she did look like Bernard manning

I would assume that when a man speaks of his ex-girlfriend he is talking about a woman he used to date, live with or just f...k, and is no longer doing those things with this woman.

I thought one you just fucked was called 'friend with benefits', so would that mean an ex one would be an 'ex-friend with benefits'?

As for salt, it's dangerous to throw around, could get in someone's eye if your aim is poor... I'd not take it out the bag first, that way its safer....

My rule of thumb was, if I banged her on three separate occasions, she was a girlfriend. Less than that, she was an acquaintance. More than that, it was serious.
