It is with great regret that I must announce the passing of long term Celebrities Moderator, The Wolf Man.

Robert worked quietly in the background for many years, always happy to help out anyone who needed it and the forum will be poorer for his loss.

Thank you, Robert , for all of the years of dedicated service, you will be missed.

That loss hits me really hard, Robert was a solid part of the Celebs team for many years, he was funny and always appreciated the light handed approach we try to adopt about modding, helping whenever possible and pointing members towards the right path.

This has been a dire past 12 months for the forum and for me personally. It is hard to say too much at present but I will probably edit this post when I have got my head around the news

My sincere condolences to Robert's wife, family and friends at this tragic time

Sadness not to have worked alongside them for longer

, they set a great example for new moderators, of getting the job done without drama or fuss, a quiet moderator that helped rather than ruled over.

The team is lessened by their loss but enriched by what they've left behind.

VEF is a community, a home to many who come here, a place to be among friends, The Wolf Man helped to make it so.

I hope wherever The Wolf Man has moved on to that they've the wind at their back & a full moon to howl to.

Take care team-mate, we miss you.

This is terrible news.
The Wolf Man was a great moderator and will be dearly missed.
My sincere condolences to his family.
I hope he is having fun with our gone but not forgotten friends on this forum.

This is another sad day at VEF, as we have lost another friend and comrade, Condolences to his family, hopefully he will be our only loss this year as we lost so much last year. RIP Robert

You were a Mod when I first got the bump all those years ago. Always friendly, patient, and a real asset to the forum. I'm sorry we rather lost touch on a regular basis as the years passed. We seemed to share much in common.

I’m so sadden to the loss of a very familiar member to all of us in this forum.

the Wolf Man was a Moderator, a highly prized team member... and we lost another interesting, friendly and a large contributing member.

His loss will be felt by all of us.

And I’m very sad for the lost to the family. My heart goes out to them.

Rest In Peace Robert.
