You Know You're Old When..

My problem began last week when i decided to start a new folder i,d call "classic celebs" up until then i was happy just to have a collection of pics n vids of any celeb i had a fancy for, mostly downloaded off this brilliant web site. Problem was, as i started to transfer said pics etc to the new folder, i realised most of the women were old enough to be in the post office collecting their bus pass!!! Diane Keen 64, Susan Sarondon 63, Caroline Munro is 60 today, even dear Felicity Kendall is 64.....Vicki Michelle turns 60 this year and Lynda Carter next year and my life will be over!!!!!

I know exactly how you feel, I was mortified when someone on this site ( I think it was Tabs)reminded me how old this object of my youthful lust, was!!

About 14 years ago I met Yvonne Craig-she was, what, 60?

I talked with her for quite awhile. The whole time my childhood crush on Batgirl re-surged. She was older, yes, and a bit heavier-which I preferred, and she was so beautiful

. She moved with the grace of a dancer, she had ditched the 60's short hair-do and let it grow to shoulder length, she was curvy, and held an air of bemused surprise that even now young men would throw themselves at her. I flirted with her shamelessly, and to her credit, she brought her beloved husband into the conversation in such a way as to let me down easy

.

In the end I recommended a good local restaurant, got an autograph and shook her hand; what I really wanted to do was scoop her into my arms and plant a nice long kiss upon her lips-she knew it too.

I know I would have, again and again. Maybe not today; but then, definitely.

Unlike women where quite often the word aging is a taboo sort of subject, I love the concept of time. Said it before; it's the most fair thing known to man. Whether you're the Pope, Bill Gates what have you or some unprivileged youth in India - your cells grow just the same.

Back on-topic; saw the crush of my teens a couple of months back.

Hadn't seen her in 25 years and man - has she aged like fine wine. Married wtih 2 - was so happy to see her, you can't imagine. Looked totally fabulous too; a tall brunette kinda like Carol Vorderman.
