Attention: There is a prevalent email scam happening everywhere where the sender claims to have a password to a site and demands money in some form. Ignore it, do not respond and at most change passwords on any sites you frequent.

Effective immediately, moving or animated GIFs are not allowed in signatures. If your signature has one, please remove or replace it asap. Staff will remove them as and when we see them without notice.

Sincerest apologies to everyone for the recent blackout. VEF and several of our sister forums had a major server malfunction. The database index is being rebuilt from scratch and may take at least several days to be fully restored. Expect major weirdness and lots of glitches in the meantime. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Unfortunately it seems that all of the posts made from the 13th March until the crash are permanently lost, please feel free to re-post any such material, apologies for this.

Misrule Vintage Member Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 542 Thanks: 29,377 Thanked 16,340 Times in 862 Posts	For finding duplicate images, I use VisiPics. It's a great little program and will crunch through thousands of files identifying the ones that are identical. It can also be set to identify images that are similar and many other options. And, once it has identified the duplicates, you can go through them and decide which one(s) to delete and which one to keep. All within the program. Thoroughly recommend it.
