My lawn mower won't start - spark problems I think - the cylinder seems to be getting plenty of petrol. I've tried changing the plug but I still can't get a tune out of it.

Any suggestions other than buy a goat!

The fuel is new - I've already cut the grass a couple of times this year.

I reckon the problem is the fact that the bastard mower is 35 years old .
I was hoping the damned thing would outlive me!!

My car insurance £1000 this week. When I tell certain people they won't believe me. Is this a common problem?

My car insurance costs 98 quid per annum - it's because the car and I are old as f*ck!

I'm feeling pedantic.

Is the "common problem" that certain people won't believe you?
Or, is the "common problem" that your car insurance is "£1000 this week".
How much was your car insurance last week? Why do you pay your insurance by the week?

Have you tried an alternate payment plan? Respected member Fleetwood77, who in his own words is "old as f**k" pays with squids from his anus. To wit "My car insurance costs 98 squid per anus". I don't recommend having two anus' but if it will lower your car insurance by £902 per week it may be worth a try. Good luck.

P.S. Why does it say 'Blocked' under my name?

I have paid £1000 this week for my annual car insurance. I have no idea why this is so or anybody I tell it to. Am I an experienced, careful motorist driving a small, low risk car carrying the burden of the uninsured and the fraudulent? Either way, I'm not happy and on the subject Greenman don't even start me on Confused.com.....
