Imagebam down???

Just tried 2 browsers to open images, no luck, then checked isitdownrightnow dot com, it said imagebam is down for everyone. Looks like it was still working earlier today...

Anyone else having problems??

We have tried pinging Imagebam website using our server and the website returned the above results. If imagebam.com is down for us too there is nothing you can do except waiting. Probably the server is overloaded, down or unreachable because of a network problem, outage or a website maintenance is in progress...

Never mind, it's an hour later or so and seems like the site is working again.

Hi,
I can't view anything coming from Imagebam; I get a blank post.
For example

I use Firefox and have deactivated Ublock Origin but to no avail
I've double checked my Firefox preferences but they seem ok

This has been happening in the last of couple of days
Does anyone else also have this problem?

I am currently downloading a bunch (~ 500) of images from imagebam with no problems.

Thanks for your responses Halvar & Rotobott

I can also download images with the add-on that you Halvar recommended Imgding

and that is actually the only way I can view the content of a post which otherwise appears blank (without thumbnails)

I just checked with a different browser - Opera - and everything is fine

So the problem is related to Firefox; I've checked about:congif values but everything was ok

Can you open the direct link to the image?

Maybe clearing the Browser cache helps.

Do you have any "Internet Security Tools" that may block requests?
What operating system do have?

Yes I can open the link you provided and see the image

I use Firefox and an  computer

I can see Imagebam thumbnails with the Opera browser, which means that the issue comes Firefox; I use a private Firefox window for surfing and that could the cause of the problem although it works fine with other image hosts

I wanted to ask you about private browsing. I have not tested this yet. Imagebam uses cookie to check if you have clicked the "continue to your image" link. Since private browsing isolates the cookies this could be the issue. But this should not affect the thumbs. I will try and play around with this for a little bit.

P.S Let's continue the discussion here and not spread it over two threads.
