Nothing like a Irukandjis jellyfish to ruin a down under vacation.

Australia is also home to more species of venomous spiders than any other countries in the world, supposedly 2/3 of the world's venoumous spiders are found in Australia.

I had a friend who tried to buy a beautiful crescent moon shaped 2 story glass home on Bondi Beach and the Australian government, which has to approve all existing homes sales by a foreign citizen, denied his purchase.

If you are foreign citizen and you want to buy a home in Australia, it will be easier if the home was brand new and still have to be build.

That's the law there.

They want to stimulate development of new properties construction and at the same time, they don't want people to just come in and buy properties and then be absentee owners and have the property left vacant or not maintained.

The reason for that is, Rich Asians were buying up big on inner city suburbs and helping inflate prices for future profit and ripping off our citizens, I goy no problem in banning all foreign ownership of land and property here unless it's a company directly employing people here and paying tax here, other than that, no way.

That's very bad for local people. I'd have no problem with your suggestion either. I'd also put a heavy tax on properties already bought (but left empty) and auction the property if the tax wasn't paid on time

In fact this thread is now pretty much redundant. I feel like I am living in Australia.

That's a kitchen glove you know. Not even Arabs wear them. Clearly the heat is too much down under

You need the oven mitt if the seat belt buckle has been in the sun. It's like a branding iron if it's exposed for a few hours

If you feel like you are here, then I'll make you feel less homesick maybe and remind ya of what a great English BBQ can be like
